I ordered a sample of Tru Skin in which required me pay shipping for the free sample bottle. At check out, when you select to purchase the Tru Skin, it automatically adds a SECOND product to your charges called Eye Rejuv. It didn't give an option to SELECT that product specifically, just auto add's it to your proof of payment saying: "Thank You for your Purchase".
Then a few weeks later I got charged 2 separate $93 charges on the same credit card, with an email a few days later saying "Thank You for enrolling in our auto refill program." Which I did not! There was no where on the website or at check out that said anything about auto refill, nor anywhere in the email. I called the phone number immediately and it went through an automated system saying that my account had been closed. That was mid April.
Today, (mid May) I got ANOTHER email saying they were charging my credit card. I again called immediatly, told them I had already cancelled, PLUS had received and email CONFIRMING the cancellation. They refused to give my money back, refused to help or transfer me to a supervisor. About 1 hour after I got off the phone where they verbally confirmed my account was closed and told me I would no longer be charged (in addition to the email confirming the cancellation), an attempt was made AGAIN to charge my credit card (which I reported as unathorized and blocked).
These guys are complete FRAUD! I've paid over $180 for products that are crap, nor did I EVER order Eye Rejuv. EVER!
Same scam as others. Received ist bottle and within 2 weeks received another bottle and charged $85.95. I am 73 years old and cannot afford such silly items but for $4.95,i decided to order. This is a widespread scam at this time and most of us are just learning about it or don't have a clue. I feel like I was robbed and, to make matters worse there is no telephone number to call. This should be illegal not just immoral. Sara G Vance
This company goes by a couple of names. But the scam is the same. Free trial offer of their skin cream, with no small print in sight about the auto-ship commitment you're signing on for. Then you'll be billed $89.95 in two weeks. Turns out, somewhere on the page there is a "Terms" although I could not find it anywhere.
Luckily, I caught on to the scam before the two weeks were up so I called them and cancelled. I still have to return the product to not be billed for it. However, I closed my card, because I've read other people's experience where even though they canceled, they continued to be billed for this product.
It's such a scam, I hope people do their research before they buy this product. I don't even know if its a good product because I sent it back unopened.
I was scammed out of $200 by True Skin and Eye Rejuv. I saw a compelling article about this skin Care Line that appeared to be quite authentic. The article featured a popular star from HGTV. The article said she had been working on this skin care line for months. Dr. Oz explained exactly how the product works and that she had just the right combination of ingredients to truly dissolve lines around eyes and on your face. The offer included 2 small samples which all you paid was for shipping. Approximately $5.99 each. I thought I would try the product. I placed my order on 4/30/2017. I received the product approximately 10 days later. Around May 10. Today, May 15 my bank account was charged $99.93 and $98.97. I received and email saying I was being charged for my auto delivery of this product. I immediately called the customer service # listed. I was told I had 14 days to try the product.
Then after 14 days, if they had not heard from me, I was automatically set up on auto delivery of both products and my bank account would be charged monthly. I said absolutely not. I have had no time to even see results and the pump on the True Skin has already broken. I was told over and over by someone I could barely understand that they were sorry and I must have not read the fine print. Guess what, there was NO fine print. She cancelled future orders but said she could do nothing else about the current charges. I told her if the charges were not refunded I was contacting the Better Business Bureau. She then said she would discount the current charges by 25%. I told her I didn't want a 25% discount, I wanted every dime back. We continued to argue and finally she hung up. I placed a second called and spoke to a man. He told me basically the same thing, I said, you know this is a scam and I am going to report, and before I could finish, he said, yea yea yea, you are going to plaster it everywhere and tell everyone it's a scam. I said, so you know it is. He said I will note this info on your account. I have been in the banking business for over 30 years and have never been scammed. I see everyone else being scammed and over the years I have learned what can happen and I stay away from these offers. This particular offer I truly thought was legitimate. I now have been a victim of a scam and I'm furious. I am contacting my bank, I used my debit card, and will try to dispute these charges. There are regulations in place to help you, if indeed you are a victim too.
After reading Lori from AZ report, I too called and found out the same thing I was going to be charged for the product that was supposed to be a free trial. I too could not find any thing in writing about the charges. The customer service rep on the phone was pleasant but you have to pay to ship it back and to provide your own return packaging and labels, plus there is a time limit to the return that is not in writing either.
I ordered two free products from this company, the charges were for shipping and handling only. I did not see anywhere, while ordering that I would be charged 14 days later, in excess of $90 twice to my credit card. There is nowhere, that I can find informing me that I need to cancel before charged. The confirmation email did not notify me that I would be charged if I did not cancel within 14 days. I have searched their website and there is absolutely no information on how to cancel these charges. I did find a number in my email for customer service for these products. I called the number in the email that I received this morning for the 180+ dollars charges. I could not understand the customer service representative, due to his very strong accent. As far as I could understand, he was offering me 50% off. I told him no that is not acceptable, I did not have the information on how to cancel, and asked him specifically several times where was I supposed to find that information?, And he had no answer. He cancelled my account and future charges, but would not refund my money. I have filed a dispute with my bank and hopefully will get my money refunded.
