This company advertised on Facebook, ad no longer exists on Facebook. Buy SkinOpulent for $4.95. once I got to checkout it flashed ad EyeOpulent for additional .99 cents, so I did. Upon opening the jar of SkinOpulent I noticed black lint in the cream but only on the top. I had already thrown the box away. Then a month later I noticed my credit card balance was much higher then it should b. So looked through transactions and noticed they charged me $89.95 & $85.95. disputed charges through US Bank Visa was credited the money. Then another month passed I noticed came thing again. Called credit card and was told they couldn't see charges that I was seeing on my US Bank app. And a fraud consultant would return my call within 24hr. So now I called 877 # for Skin Opulent listed on email confirmation from initial order. The woman that answered would not repeat name of company when I asked, & would not tell me business address. Insisted I give her my name and address first to look up my account. She tried telling me she just works at call center and doesn't have address info for the product. So asked make of company that employs her at her call center job. She replies all different companies. Again I ask the names. She repeats all diff. I ask again, now she says, SkinOpulent. I ask all where r u located, she replies Santa Ana. Just a total scam I finally hung up on her. Check Skin Opulent website, that had an Canada address.
I ordered eye opulent from an ad on facebook, which was a free trial, paying only shipping. There was no page or information saying i was being enrolled in an auto-ship program, or showing the price of the products. Eye opulent $91.90, and skin opulent $94.90. These amounts were charged to my credit card i used to pay the shipping with.
I received an order today of the product and called the company to request a return label, and that i had not ordered this. They told me i enrolled in auto ship when i ordered the trial products. I told them there was no agreement to do this and that they are decieving people by hiding this information. They argued that i had to have known about it because i had to read it and agree to it before ordering the products.
I told them i did not agree and she kept talking over me insisting i was wrong. I requested a return label and for my account to be refunded the $91.90 and $94.90 and she said they do not do this. I asked to be transfered to her supervisor, and she did. The supervisor told me the same thing. I told her about the Outscam already against them.
She finally agreed to do this only one time, and send me an rma number, and when they recieved the products, they would issue a credit to my account.
This is a scam because they hide the fact that you are entering into an auto ship program and they charge your credit card without authorization. This activity is very shady and they should be stopped! they say they do not give your money back, and then finally offered to return 50%. I told her no i wanted the entire amount. She then said she would try to get approved to give me back 75%. I said no i want the entire amount. That is when she said she would do this only once, and agreed to let me send back the products, which she had said they do not except returns.
I'm tired of companies like this taking advantage of people and then refusing to work with people! they only offer half of your money back and most people except this! you don't have to but you have to put up a huge fight and get upset! they need to make their terms "visable" and not hide them! i've had it with them!
