Express Writers Corp Reviews

I am imploring anyone who wants to deal with an honest company to avoid this one because it lied during a credit card billing dispute for $500 where it stole money by saying it performed services that it did not. Also, be warned of the company's internal policy of an arbitrary two-week timeline for any "credits" that it places on funds that you place with them, even though their written policy states that you have 60 days to use any services once you deposit funds with them.

Because they lied to support their position, they have proven themselves to be a one-star company. Honest companies live up to their obligations and would simply have refunded fees that they take for services they have not performed.

While $500 is not a fortune, it feels terrible to be scammed by anyone and then have them blatatnly LIE when a credit card dispute is filed.

Express Writers churns out some pretty good web content.

However, do you know if the person who wrote it even got payed, or was he or she cruelly ripped off?

I don't know how many other people have experienced a serious rip off from Express Writers, but this is what happened to me. I was hired to edit for their writing company, and I filled out all the forms, the Non-Disclosure Form, the W-9 Form with my social, etc. We agreed to a given amount per hour, and as the hours could be rather extensive and had to be time-specific, I quickly ended other, lesser paying contracts and quit one of my part-time jobs so that I could take this lucrative opportunity with Express Writers.

Once I had begun working, they told me that I had to purchase Excel - $100 out of my own pocket. About 45 minutes after I left the Microsoft Website, I saw that Express Writers had terminated me without notice. When I contacted them, they assured me that they would reimburse me for the two days that I had already worked.

Weeks went by, and not a word from them. Finally, they answered my repeated messages and emails, saying that they did not consider my work worthy of compensation. That was that. I have no way of getting the money out of them.

I should have suspected that something like this could happen. While I was working, I noticed them constantly flippantly talking about "firing" this person, that person, like it was a normal thing, for the smallest mistakes. Remember, I was the editor. Finding a mistake from one of their writers could mean that writer was fired. Not trained, not corrected, just fired (and perhaps without pay).

I just want to warn all my fellow writers and editors out there, do not work for Express Writers!

I would also bring into question their whole work ethic due to their not always paying their workers. Do you really want to use a company like this for your own reputable website? Just saying...
