This agency is lying to the public through forced positive online reviews that they require anyone whom they happen to find a temporary job as a term of employment. They force the people that they are supposed to be helping to recruit more people thus bringing them more revenue. They are making desperate people give them great reviews, lying to the public so that they can pay them minimum wage for jobs that they are billing the companies $15+ per hour. They are using people who are just trying to feed their families and forcing them to lie to anyone searching online for employment services. The husband and wife team that runs this online "Sweat Shop" are rude and they do not respond well to questions asked by the people they are supposed to be looking out for. If they are questioned about simple things like hours missing from pay checks or lack of proper pay stubs they are slow to respond, and when they do they say things like " Are you calling me liar!!" Save yourself the trouble do not use them, and they should not be able to taint the system by forcing positive reviews for a paycheck.

Lasted about 13 wk and the second job around the same length of time after not getting another assignment I file for unemployment Insurance and was denied It was also stated I didn't keep in touch with them which that was a lie they had sent me on a interview and I didn't get the job and I call the office to inform them of the interview and it was stated they would call me so the following week I called them back because I need to work so I had to File for help until I can get another job,I had to take my re certification for my previous job,I have called express employment for work and they want even return my called I called them on 12-15-16 an ask do they have any work and they said the recruiter will called you back and now I have to file appeals for my UI money. It doesn't make sense I should have taken the UI benefits from my other job instead of trying to work, but trying to keep busy seem to have not work in this case,so don't try to help the system because It want help you if all somebody has to do is Lie.I am College Graduate working on my Master so It's not logical for me who has a family whose depend on me for Healthcare for which I purchase,So why would I stop looking for work especially if you don't want to be fine for not having insurance.

After working for Express Employment for nine months my assignment ended and I was informed there was no more work. I was laid off and would be notified of another assignment. The branch manager approved me drawing unemployment insurance. I was approved in about two weeks but after a few months I received a letter that due to my not staying in touch with the branch office I was disapproved and would have to "pay back" all UI benefits I had received. I applied and won my appeal. Approximately ten months later the State Employment office advised that I had failed to report all earnings during my claim time (which is false) and now I owe them about $239. Of course, I made an appeal and am still waiting on a decision. I have drawn UI several times during my work life and have never experience this! Although I really enjoyed working for them, the lay off and subsequent negative experience with simply drawing unemployment outweighs the good. I would not recommend working for Express Employment Professionals.

My mother complained against, Christian at Express Employment "Professionals" out of the Murfreesboro, TN office for age discrimination. During the interview process Christian asked my mother if she was over 40 (EEOC anyone?). After that interview my mother successfully completed all required testing for an administrative position. The following day she was told they no longer had any administrative positions available. Upon this experience my mother filed a rip off report, not even 24 hours later she received a call from Christian inquiring about my mother's report. She explained to my mother that she asked her age to see if she qualified for a tax credit. By the end of the call my mother was offered and excepted a housekeeping position with the understanding that Express would continue to try and place her in an administrative role. At some point Christian told my mother she only qualified for a housekeeping position. This of course upset my mother especially because she is a certified medical assistant. Earlier today while speaking with my mother she explained the above ordeal which prompted me to call Express and speak with Christian on my mother's behalf. When I called the receptionist informed me Christian was in an interview. I then asked to speak with a manager and was transferred to Becky. I explained to Becky that my mother felt as if she was being discriminated against and how she felt about being told she only qualified to be a housekeeper. Becky defended Christian every step of the way ensuring me that there was miscommunication between My mother and Christian. By the end of the conversation Becky tells me that my mother accepted the housekeeping position. The problem is this so called manager was chuckling while she was telling me my mother accepted the position . I asked her what was so funny and she began laughing pretty hard and said, "I'm not laughing ". I explain to her, "I can hear you laughing ". She says, " You can't see my face" like I'm an idiot or something. In our opinion Christian obviously has been taught unlawful and discriminatory practices and her manager Becky is tacky, unprofessional, and a liar!!! It's time to hold this company responsible for the lack of honor and dignity in their so called business practices!!!

I recently registered with Express Employment to be placed with an Admninstrative job that

they had open during my interview process I was asked by Christen, was I over 40 years old

and I said yes I am over 40 and she proceeded with the interview by sending me a link to

take 6 different tests via email. When I got home I started taking the tests and I finished

all 6 tests and my scores was high enough to be placed with a job but when I called the

agency back the next day I was told by Christen that the job was no longer available

and they did not have anything else for me. When you drive pass Express Employment

they have a huge sign hanging up saying Now Hiring and I strongly believe I am being

Discriminated against due to my age being over 40 because in the interview process

I was asked this prejudice question by Christen, and then not being placed. Its an

emotional roller coaster when searching for a job but its even harder when your faced

with age and color discrimination I have many years to still work before my retirement age

and I still want to work until my retirement age without being discriminated against.

The EEOC need to hear about theses types of things going on with Employers and Temp agencies.
