Express Reviews

I purchased four sweaters from Express.com on December 05/2017, when I received the items two of them was big so I went to the Express store located on 3101 Steinway Street Astoria, New York 11103 to return them but the cashier refused and told me that I will have to mail it back, so I emailed Express on 1/3/2017 and I was told that I will receive a return label receipt within 7 business days but never received anything so I emailed them again on 1/12/2017 and it was no response back from them, so I called customer service and I was told that a label will be emailed to me within 24 hours again but again never received anything, so I emailed Express again on 1/15/2017 and asked them for the fourth time to email me a return label receipt and their response was to wait another 5 business days.

I am not sure if Express ignoring my request until the 90 days return policy runs out or is it a discrimination issue because of my name.

International Delivery Service Max Express Sara Smith First, this fake company "Max Express" may be using a similar companies name and their reported website does not exist. I received a work from home email from Sara Smith of Max Express, wanting me to ship packages for them.

The scam: they send packaged to you (clothing and shoes) then a shipping label later once you verify the contents to Sara (or whatever her real name is). You would repack, label and take to USPS or FEDEX for delivery. There was not out of pocket expense, all shipping labels were prepaid. The shipping labels you were to use had your name and address as the “shipper”.

I had an interview, which was a joke, and I asked why would you go thru the expense to ship to me, and me ship to a customer that was either in DE or USSR, and not just ship yourself? I did not get a very good response.

The address I posted on this website was on their contract I received, however, if you google that address, there are several businesses located there, but not one for MAX Express. The phone number that was used for my interview - if you call the number, there is not verification of who you are leaving a message for. All red flags.

Since I did not have to leave any personal information or bank information I decided to see what would happen. I was to receive $2800 a month for my services. I received several packages during the month, verified the contents, received shipping labels, repacked and shipped. After a couple of weeks I was promoted to $3800 / month and at the end of the third week, I was asked if I wanted to be a manager and receive more money! More on this in a minute.

I had to track one of the packages because the customer had not received it, and I found out that FEDEX had confiscated the package. I spoke to a gentlemen in charge of the fraudulent (I believe that was the dept.) and he told me that Max Express had used the account of another customer to pay for the shipping. And, that this was not the only case they had involving Max Express. In other words, Max Express was stealing accounts from other companies to pay for their international shipping.

USPS returned a package destined to USSR to me. The reason for the return was as follows: “This parcel is returned to you because the postage transaction is not valid or the postage label was digitally manipulated.” When I notified Sara about these problems, she denied it (of course) and said she would research it. In total, two different deliveries were returned to me.

The scam continues – during the 3rd week I was promoted and new salary of $3800 plus commission. And, during the fourth week, the final week before I was to be paid, I was asked if I wanted to be a manager, more pay and more commission. Pay day came and went and no payment.

I told Sara that If I did not receive payment, I would not ship the items I had until I received my salary. I received another email telling me I would receive $1700 (what happened to the $2800or $3800 I was to receive) and when I received this money, to keep $700 and “immediately” wire a $1000 to a customer. Ya right – I know this scam, the payment bounces because it is from another country.

I never did receive any payments, and in the meantime, another package was returned to me, I told her if I was paid, I would ship all the product I have to the Chicago address. No response.
