This company is making false and deceptive claims about lists from tradeshows they claim to own, manage, operate and/or affiliation with. They have none of that and are selling fake, complete BS lists. There claim that these lists are from attendees of the show is a complete lie.
I was contacted by Kellie Christopher by email [email protected] stating they had the attendees list for a recent hunting show DSC and at the SCI Dallas Safari Club. This was the original message
"Hi, We have updated Dallas Safari Club - DSC 2020 Attendees List and we now have a total of 7,821 contacts who are attending Dallas Safari Club - DSC 2020 event. Would you be interested in purchasing the list of Attendees with complete contact information for pre-show and post-show marketing campaign, appointment setting, networking and various other post-show Marketing initiatives. Data fields: Visitors Full Name, Email address Prefix First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Job Title, Full Mailing Address and Phone Number We only include opt-in contacts in our database. Thanks & I’ll look forward to your response. Regards, Kellie Christopher Head of Event Specialist"
After some back and forth emails, we requested info on other shows they claimed they could provide the attendance list, along with name, email and phone number. Chris Miller from Expo Snap with a fake email connected to a hotmail.com and yahoo.com account started to reply. They claimed they could sell us the lists for Dallas, Houston and Las Vegas shows for 2020.
I contacted SCI and inquired about the affilation they had with the shows and who produced them, organized, and then did the marketing. SCI executives and their legal team have heard about this scam before and have previously sent cease and desist letters. Tate is the man I spoke with and he stated this company is a scam and they never sell or rent their attendance list.
Other red flags of the exposnap scam were there invoices, wire transfer instructions, using alias company names, personal names, and alias email address. Buyer beware, this company is completly a scam!
