Tony Keusseyan, owner of Exoto Inc., as taken my money totalling $2674.44 for six model cars, and has yet to deliver the model cars. About $1100 of the amount he has held since 2007. As others have done, I would periodically inquire as to status of delivery, and I'd get a response that the cars will be made very soon. I took him at his word, and that is a big mistake. The cars have not been delivered, and even if they are made, who knows what price he would now charge, despite the fact that for two of the models I've already paid full price.
After running out of patience, I've asked recently asked for this money back, and the initial response was that someone would call me by the end of the week. No one did, so I called on a Friday. I got Tony on the phone which is pretty lucky, and he said that someone would contact me on Monday. No one called so I called on Tuesday and got the bookkeeper who said that she would relay my request to Tony. Still no response, and I've also sent emails.
Tony is not to be trusted and he has terrible business practices. I would not buy anything from him again.
Because the amount due me is too small to pay for a lawyer, I've contacted the BBB in Santa Barbara, CA, the attorney general's office in Illinois where I live, and the attorney general's office in California. Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
If anyone has any other ideas of whom I could contact to help get my money back it would be appreciated.
