I have been a member of BNI and SBR before in my 20 yr career and have had a good overall experience. This group however is not as professional and it is not worth the $100 a month they charge. I have been a member for over a year and I tried to resign twice. The organizer assured me to stick around as I am likely to get some business. Right after he said that group members volunteered to see me and place orders they had no intention of honoring as I soon found out. To make it worse I got behind in dues and my indebtedness spread around the group and the organizer who runs an industry association I am a member of decided to share my debt with people in my company and my competitors. This person also runs a money raffle every week like he is at the local corner tap. So unprofessional and hurt my business rather than help it. To make it worse an attorney from the group has been hired to collect the debt and has yet to return my five calls. I sent a check a week ago for $200 to settle a $900 debt that includes a $15 fee for each of the 5 fake leads I got while a member and I never got a return call. They threaten a lawsuit instead of talking to you, no one needs that and no one needs a group like this.
