In exchange for viewing vacation properties I received a certificate for a free 2 night stay with a broad choice of locations. The certificate required a $50 fee to activate. After activating the certificate I have been unable to book a hotel.
The entire process is made out to be really complicated, you fax a request, once they get the request they send an email telling you to call, you call and confirm your request and they send an email letting you know if they have an availability and so on and on it goes until you either give up or run out of time (requests have to be made 60 days ahead of time and within a year of certifiate activation, blah blah blah).
If you choose to take a $50 gamble and the persistance required that this might eventually might pay off than let me warn you, whatever you do - don't complain about the process. I got royally chewed out for questioning the process and scolded for not following it promptly. The sales person then ended the conversavion by litterally screaming at me "You won't get booked if your lucky you'll get a refund". So that's that, I doubt I'll see that vacation or my $50.00 and it's simply not worth putting up with such ill mannered and discourteous service.
