This took place in early 2004. I just found this site. The man is still in business. I sent him three Maserati. Two Mweak SS, 1980 each with 18,000 miles. And a Bora 1978. Instructions were, do everything needed to make them good as new. Both Marak had low oil pressure. The Bora had a noise like a tooth was missing only heard when the car rolled to s stop. Results all three ran poor and would not idle below 1,500 rpm. The Merak's still had little oil pressure(5 lbs hot idle). The Bora after driving it to my home,15 miles ran so bad I would not drive it any further. I sent all three cars to, Evans Automotive Repair, Columbus, Ohio. And by phone told the owner, George to fix all three no money or contract. Results. Both Merak motors were so dirty inside that the oil pressure gauge could not get a proper reading. Valve clearance was incorrect so they could not idle. The Bora, instead of having the heads planed at a machine shop a body grinder was used. The intake were full of water.
