We have been satisfied customers for over 10 years until we bought another a/c unit for $3,467 which was installed by them January 2015.
After they installed, the unit never cooled the home properly and we had several of their technicians visit, but to date, no one has been able to correct the problem.
I called them early this week and advised them the house was not cooling again and arranged for a technician to come out to check the system and perform the standard 6 month maintenance. He added refrigerant and was able to get the temp to drop a few degrees. Today, I put the thermostat at 71 and found it would not go below 75. I called again, this time very frustrated and very upset and spoke to the mother. I advised her we were at the point that we needed to replace the unit under its warranty since they could not find a way to repair the unit.
She refused and then hung up on me since I was so upset. My husband called back and spoke to her son. He went on to say that this is the problem you get with the equipment since it is not made in America. They are now refusing to repair or replace this unit and told us they were parting ways with us even though I just paid them almost $500 for a service call, a bogus repair item, and a one year prepaid maintenance contract that they are not going to honor.
They say they stand by their service but that is obviously a LIE. I will never recommend this company and buyer beware!
I have contacted the manufacturer direct and hope they can help me with the unit.
