On June 2, 2016 I contracted with Everon Drones to repair my Drone. The fee for repairs was $75.00 plus any parts required. I sent them my drone along with return U S mail stamps and insurance for the return trip. On June 22, 2016 I was informed that the part I needed was going to be $180.00 which I sent immediately. I contacted them severals times and was told they were having video Qulity issues and had even reached out to thier DJI contact for guidence. After that they quit answering the phone and emails. I would just like to get my drone back. Any and all help would be appretiated. I did file a complaint with the Arizona AG's office but nothing from them yet. Recently I notice the Everon website had beeen taken down. I have over $2000.00 invested in my drone.
This is a fraudulent scam operation running out of a UPS mailbox store.
Sent my drone for repair to John at Everondrones in August 2016 with 75. diagnostic fee. Spoke to him on the phone at length; sounded trustworthy and knowledgeable. A couple months passed before I could pay the 315. repair fee.
He always responded by email or phone regularly - then came firmware issues which delayed sending to me in Asia. He promised such a date, then another, then stopped emails, phone calls late October, ealry November 2016. Emails got kicked back starting November 01 and website domain parked at Godaddy. Reported to them.
I had a friend in town run by the address - it is a UPS mailbox store.
I am reporting it to the Phoenix PD.
If anyone else had been taken by this guy, I would be happy to hear from them.
This company purports to repair DJI drones and is an authorized dealer. I believe the person who owns this company is named John Barrett. I have seen several complaints similar to mine on the internt and Yelp. I sent my drone in for repair in July. They asked for and I sent $99 for an evaluation. I heard back that the drone was damaged beyone the $99 repair and they then asked for an additional $250+...which I sent back in August 2016. I have emailed this company many many times and receive no response. When I call their phone as listed on the internet, it kicks back to the operator. They do not answer phone calls, respond to emails or refund the money I sent. I believe this company is a complete ripoff. I am not sure I will ever get my money back or my drone for that matter. At this point, I am doing my best to put this company out of businesss and warn anyone how is considering sending their drone in for repair to be extremely carefull.
