Please understand that the above review is FALSE. It is a review for another company Evergreen RV. Evergreen Printing and Mailing in Pensacola has the URL GoEvergreen.com for the company website. The above review from 12/12/15 is for Evergreen RV, for which the URL is GoEvergreenRV.com. The two businesses are confused often because of the similar URLs. Evergreen Printing and Mailing is a family-run business with an excellent reputation for customer service.
In October of 2013 we purchased a 2013 365RL Evergreen BayHill fifth wheel. Within two weeks the main slide was leaking, we called Blue Dog Rv the dealer we purchase the unit from they sent out a tech to our location and he siad the seal was bad. He would go back and order the new seal. Not hearing from them for a couple weeks I called back and they said we cant fix it till spring but we could buy slide toppers for $500.00.
As I did not feel that I should pay addtional for anything to make my brand new 85000 rv to not leak.
In the spring we would told by the dealer we dont have time to fix it but they did have those 500 toppers in. We also told them the air conditioner in the bedroom stopped working and the toilet was leaking.
We moved to Oregon and got the unit into an Evergreen Bayhill authorized dealer where they listed all the problems told us would get a approval from the factory. For all the problems including the slide leak that we had for a year. The toilet leaking the air conditioner out ect ect.
Took it back to the rv park and waited. Sitting in the unit one day I heard a loud popping noise and sparks were coming out of the fuse box. I got the power off.
This fire had blow up the bedroom tv and the mircowave were the first things I noticed. I called the Factory and was sent out a tech to look at the problems.
The factory sent out a new mircowave and bedroom tv. The tech came and found the invertor had fried causing the tv the mircowave and several switches to blew up.
I called the factory again and they said we know you have an oper Ro so have the tech do the basics and we will have the dealer go through the whole thing.
The tech that did the work called me several times to let me know that he didnt get paid. I called the factory and was assured he would get paid.
We took the unit to the dealer thinking all would be good they were going to work with the factory and get all the issues resolved. When my husband got to the dealer they said we are only going to fix the toilet nothing else as Evergreen Bayhill doesnt pay there bills (second time I heard that statement).
So off we go to Arizona upon arriving here I called several dealers that sell BayHill and could not even get a phone call back. Now all this time I have in writing from the factory (we will take care of it, we stand behind our product, etc,etc.
Again the sewer tank still not working right and I call the factory what are we doing they send a tech out to fix the sewer the toilet overflows into the living room area getting under the tile and carpet.
So I had to replace the tile.......
Now my husband is sitting in the unit hears a loud noise outside and the sewer tank falls on the ground sure glad we wernt on the road when that happened.
Again we call the factory they tell me to call the tech that came before. I called him and he doesnt want to come out because THEY DIDNT PAY HIM FOR THE LAST CALL!!!!!
He comes out anyway because he feels bad for us we then get a portable sewer tank that you have to hand dump but the factory will send out and get this fixed.
After a month nothing I call again and the parts havent even been ordered. At this point the factory decides to take the unit back to Indiana and repair it because no one wants to work on it anyway. They tell me they will send a toy hauler in the meantime. I did not want a toy hauler we decide to rent a house which yes the factory did pay for.
They paid the rv payment and our rent for four months. We got the unit back first rain storm the slide leaked AGAIN!!! Sent emial to them they are so sorry they didnt check that I have an RO in writing of repairs that should have been done. One of the main slides now does not work and we never had a problem with it until thye took it. They had four month to fix it and I have in wrinting what should have been fixed and now its still broke with new problems.
The factory said were done not going to fix anything and they have gone above and beyond.
I paid for a product to be right and its not right in fact its worse than it was. I have all emails back and fourth with the factory of all the problems this is soooooo bad no one could make this up.
I am sure I left out some things but agian I have it all in writing.
