I want to preface this by reminding you that you are shipping your items to a company that then can say what is and isn't working and it's their word against yours. Be cautious of what you send them as you cannot get it back.
Traded in a video game console and multiple games because I've done business with them before and their decent trade in prices. I sent in three Xbox 360 plug and play controllers with one being a more expensive one. The battery packs for the controllers were not attached but separate in the box. Because of batter packs being separate, whomever received the trade marked the controllers as defective, even though I tested them, and someone just so happened to be in the room while I tested them.
I contacted customer service 3 times and after a week of trying to get answers they said the battery packs weren't there. Which in that 7 day span who knows where they could have disappeared to.
If you send something to them remember that they will take a while to address your concerns and that any items in dispute could go "missing." Trust your trade in to a much more competent company that puts customer needs first.
Because of the incompetence of the employee who received my trade I'm now out the money and eStarland can't ship back my items since said controllers are "incomplete." Do not do business with them. Even though your local brick and mortar store may offer less for trade in at least it is an honest affair where your items aren't literally stolen. Just remember when you ship something to them they have the power to deem what is and isn't working and you won't get anything back.
