My Grandson and his fiance went to this complex and really liked the amenities. They asked me to co-sign for them. I was going to, not realizing they were giving a large hold deposit and waiting to hear if they were approved or not. Prior to the approval they decided not to take the apartment. It would cost this young couple over $1400 per month, which they really could not afford.
Prior to the application, the rental agent WOW'd the ammenities, like a salesman does, got them exited about the community that they almost signed the papers. I remember the agent saying that they could get their deposit back if they changed their minds before signing the lease. WELL, of course that is not true. They lost $355.00 in only 4 days of signing the application. THAT IS WRONG! THEY MUST REALLY NEED THE MONEY.
Lesson learned. So if you go to this complex, read the small print and then decide if you want to give them a deposit.
Ask them how long you have until you lose the deposit to hold the apartment, and anything else that you could lose.
ALSO, the apartments are really to small. The one bedroom apartment is extremely small. You would never be comfortable with a queen size bed, and forget any dressers.
