I hired Erica to make a website for me and paid her $500 as a downpayment on an $1000 job. After some work on the site, she said that her computer was hacked and that she lost a lot of the work she had done.
She offered the money back but to date, two weeks later, has not sent the money. I believe she was farming out the work to a guy in India. He contacted me and told me that she was going to pay $300 to the person doing the work for her. That person has not been paid either.
