I paid for a class in December, 2015 which was to be held in January, 2016. They day of the class they called and said the class had to be cancelled and they would call me and reschedule. The class was rescheduled for February but no one ever called to tell me that. Oddly, and to my surprise, they called me the day of the February class and cancelled it because the weather was allegedly so bad that chains were apparently required to get to the hotel where the training was. Problem was that it clear blue and sunshine that day. I asked for a refund and said I'd just like to cancel because I'm not satisfied with waiting another month. They said they have a no refund policy. After hassling and haggling me and multiple phone calls and eventually being postured by the "director" for an hour about they have don't give refunds he finally agreed.
Problem now was that it was passed their point of being able to do so. I called Amex and they refunded my money luckily. The "director" was one of the worst customer relations people I have ever dealt with. He was rude, discourteous and his ego was astronomical. I just wanted to get a refund after waiting two months for a class that had been cancelled two months in a row. That's not crazy is it? They said they would have another class in March. I said "sorry but based on the two previous classes being cancelled I have doubts about waiting another month just for you to cancel on me." Stay away. These guys have a terrible record of doing this as you will find the hard way after you pay them, just like I did.
I purchase a consealed weapons class with them. They canceled the class, so I said I would go to another location in Vero beach and drive 3 hrs. The lady on the phone said Vero is having the class then 5 min. later they said nope it got canceled too. So they have canceled all their classes and I live in NC and they don't offer classes in NC. They would not refund my money. I should of read the reviews on this company before purchasing. I just called another company and they said their policy is if they cancel they refund and that is how good business works. Do not use this company. The 2 ladies on the phone were not polite and didn't want to help. On top of that they told me its not their problem and they would not refund me. Well I feel that it is the right thing to do is to refund me since they canceled 2 all their classes until Jan. Horrible experience, will not recommend.
Cancelled class 1/2 hour before... Refused refund. Rep said "it's not our policy to refund. Sorry, hon." so unprofessional! now i have to dispute it with visa. I should have checked first!
