Equator.com hasn't given me any leads since somewhere around 08/08/17. This is why i canceled around 10/09/17, because it was a waste of time. In real estate, time is everything. You spend all kinds of time finding mortgage brokers and houses for a bunch of bums that don't even email you back. Well, equator.com was no different. When i wasn't paying equator for my account, i was actually using it for something.
Then you switch firms, and you pay money for consideration, and out of all the 70 or so leads up until 08/08, they didn't even give me a chance. So, i canceled their a**.
Now, 5/09/18, i'm charged 399$ for a 2019 renewal? You know what? I don't even think so. These people don't offer any proof when you cancel something. I think they just decided to bill me full price, which is a bunch of bs, seeing as i was charged 179$ originally, and first savings bank sided with them, because they already knew me, so she said. The manager said i was already being considered so they won't refund me, but i digress. I did everthing they said i had to do, and proved that to my banker. So, i withdrew my moneyfrom her account because i can't trust her anymore.
That other guy was reporting zip codes. You just have to log in and erase everything, and then it's your word against their's and we'll see where your banker falls. I blame all this partially on my association, gniar, because they don't like thier agents using contracts, and how do you do something like real estate without having legal representation?
I believe that I had subscribed to Equator services at one time, likely on a promotional discount. I never got any business from them such as real estate listings from foreclosure companies.
I retired in the summer of 2017, so I was surprised to get a notice of renewal from Equator. I checked my credit card card at USAA (veteran organization) and sure enough there was a pending transaction in the amount of $399 from Equator.
I immediately disputed the billing with USAA and contacted Equator to have the charge reversed. However, Equator refused to consider my request for refund of the fee.
Unfortunately, something just came up and I don't have the time to communicate all details in full, but in short, Equator is promising realtors REO listings, taking their money and realtors gets nothing. I signed up with them and spend a lot of money, with the expectations of listings. Got nothing. It hurts!
When calling this company to cancel my subscription in July 2016, I was told I would be billed for the remainder of my subscription the following month (August 2016) and reluctantly agreed since they didn't give me much of a choice.
I have not been billed since then and was SHOCKED to see a new charge of $399 from the in March of 2017. I called to ask why I'd been charged and was told it was because I did not disable my auto renew feature. I didn't even know this feature existed and thought it was handled since I was no longer being billed. They won't even allow you to remove your credit card info on-line. I was even more upset when I was told since it was auto renewed it would not be reversed.
These people are stealing my money and I want it returned.
