My bank said that I “authorized” these bs charges because I “technically” did sign up for a trial. Ended up paying 5 bucks for this book www.trialbusters.com and got 120 in refunds. Helped me alot.
Please help me get back my 196.00 that they took from my Discover Card. I gave Person for $4.95 and got the trial size and before I received it already took out 98.00 in Sept. I called and told them to credit back to my account for I want to cancel. The lady told me ok just keep trial size. Then when I got my Bill in Nov. I was charged196.00 for something I didn’t receive. If II receive any thing I am returning. They kept hanging up on me. Please help me!!!!! Returning what they sent to me to address below: They need to stop taking money out of account. I got a message today saying it was cancel and would credit $47.00 only to my Discover. Not right. They took $196.00. I have read other comments on here and are doing the same thing to them. Please. No One Don’t order from this company. Don’t t give anyone your card # Thank you for listening and hoping you can get them to return money that doesn’t belong to them. I ordered Envie anti-wrinkle cream, free with $4..95 shipping. When I was billed, they had added on eye cream and expedited shipping for a total of $13.74 so I had to get that corrected. I received my product. Then yesterday, my checking account was charged $98.63 by someone called Choice Health. I got that phone number from my bank and called them and was told they had billed me for a month's supply (I didn't order nor want this).
I tried to cancel that and was offered a number of discount prices before I told them I'd be filing a fraud complaint unless I was refunded the whole amount. I was told that would take 5-8 days. When I told them I'd be filing a scam complaint they hung up. I called back and they said their was nothing they could to get me my money sooner. So they're keeping my money an additional 5-8 days???? That has to be illegal. Also there is no phone number or contact information on their website.
The sample of the Envie Cream was FREE, but you paid ONLY $2.95 for the shipping.
Then they tried to entice you with their other products, an eye wrinkle serum and a book about skin treatments, and other things. I by-passed ALL that.
THERE WAS NO PRE-PAYMENT CONFIRMATION PAGE, ONLY an ORDER SUMMARY PAGE AFTER PAYMENT HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN.
and the PAYMENT TAKEN was $13.74.
I CHECKED MY BANK AND IT HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN ! IN UNDER 3 MINUTES!
The Order Summary page listed:
Order # 93396DBC81, 11/3 4:32PM
ALESSE Ageless Eye Serum -
EXPEDITED SHIPPING ENVIE - $1.95
EXPEDITED SHIPPING ALESSE - $1.92
ENVIE Anti Wrinkle Cream -
SubTotal: $3.87
Shipping: $9.87
GRAND TOTAL: 13.74
So it looks like they charged me basic shipping PLUS expedited shipping for the one sample I ordered.
PLUS *THEY* ordered me another "FREE" product, and charged me basic AND expedited shipping on that.
NOT what I ordered, $13.74 is NOT what I want to pay
I saw on the Dr oz website a chance to get a cream n serum for my face n eyes. I was interested n after entering my personal information I then changed my mind n disconnected myself from the website. Not that day but maybe the next someone called me from there n inquired about my interest n then talked me into it. At no time did that person say I would only be charged just 4.95 then after 14 days would then be charged over $200 out of my personal account. No way did that even come into the conversation.
They would have continued sending me something that had made my skin itch n gave me a rash n I would have then been responsible for more money coming out of my account. U called to inquire to complain n they refused to budge they offered discounts on their creams after I told them that it irritated my skin. I asked for the presidents name they said it was not available. I said to them that you don't know the president of your company or you are refusing to give it to me.
They said they handle all complaints. I asked for the mailing address n they gave me ok box 20800 fountain valley CA 92728.
I said I wanted the mailing address and not the p.o. box and they said that's all they have to give me. I'm in financial stress n here although in this predicament I thought great ill try this just try this for my skin. Little did I know they would rip me off and take advantage of me. I should have ordered something thru my niece some one I know n I didn't cause I thought she was too expensive. Well now I'm crying depressed hurt miserable sad worried n I'm physically not feeling well because of this.
Envie / Alesse After ordering the 10 day trial, I was not happy with the product. During this time we had a hurricane, and I found out the I have a very serious heart condition. The same day I called to canceI I found out they had already charged my dredit card $98. When disputing this with the rep., I also found out that the trial date begins the day you order (not the six(+/-) it take to receive it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or mngr the rep got very rude and hung up. The rep said her name was Channel #307. Internet
As the others have said it is a HUGE SCAM! NO WHERE DID I see an ongoing charge was being added. The phone number on my charge card is UNANSWERED. After LOTS of hoops and phone numbers 888-985-3495 got me to agent John #322. He was less than helpful and the same run around as others I see here. I even read him the LACK of information on the email and website enviecream.net.
DO NOT BE DUPED!
I signed up for a free trial - pay 4.95 s&h. Then was slammed with a $98.63 charge 2 weeks later and 2 more months of $98.63 that I didn't catch while on summer travel, then had to search and search for a working phone number as my email to the customercare @ enviecream . com told me they couldn't actually help me cancel or refund me.
Be aware that the trial period starts the day you put your order in, not when you receive it. Also, no info comes in the package to remind you that you only have 14 days(starting with your order date) to decide whether you like it or not.
I went back to Envie/Alesse website and could not find the trial info. Order was placed 8/21, post office stamp 8/22 received 8/24. I had till 9/3 from start of order(8/21) but received it 8/24; and called to cancel on 9/5 - which was 12 days after receiving. Manager said it was too bad that I called 3 days too late. He said calling on day 14 would not have been within the 14 day trial period anyway.
However, they were willing to give me 2 months free supply and reduce price by 75% if I would keep my account open. But they could not refund the $195. They were willing to refund me $68.
Make sure you can afford to spend $200 on this item because it really seems like a trap to me.
THey offer a free trial of their miracle anti-aging cream. A dubious product, to be sure, but I read that it was the business the lady on "Flip or Flop" was going to leave the show to promote, so I thought maybe there was something to it.
HA!
First of all, the "free trial" is not free. No surprise - they want your credit card number for "Shipping and Handling". Well, I know a scam when I see one, and there's no way in hell I'm giving them my credit card information.
What I did not expect is how persistent they would be in using my email and telephone information to pester me since then to "complete my order". A dozen emails. Multiple calls AFTER I told them I wasn't interested to to take my name off their telemarketing list. I have blocked their telephone exhchange and email domain, and I only ohope that works.
If you didn't know before that they were scammers, this relentless pursuit of a potential sucker is certain proof that this is a product you want nothing to do with.
Envie offered a 1.95 trial to anti-wrinkle cream. 14 days after order they charged my credit card 98.63. When I received this charge. I called to cancel the order and try to send back the product unused. They said they don't take returns. I tried to get address they would not give me their address. I called on aug 2 they said it will be a month before I get my money. Which is only half I total cost anyhow. This is complete ripoff.
