Hi, we purchased a theme 'The7' from Envato Market with Invoice IVBF24845819, Invoice IVHF12879913, Invoice IVIP24971187, and we downloaded both the full zip file, as well as the compact zip file. Neither wanted to install via the Wordpress engine. It gave errors. When we tried to unzip it and FTP it to the server, we noticed more than 600= php, jpg, gif, etc. files were faulty and could not unzip. No matter how we tried, we always seem to end up with a faulty or crashing theme. We reqched out to the support desk via a detailed email describing all the issues, and requested support in the form a new tested file to be sent to us, or a refund. They blatantly refused to assist us and sent us the following email from a no reply email address:

We wasted $40 US on a faulty theme, and we sent the the 600+ errors, which they are obviously aware of, and clearly have no intent to support us or assist with a fixed theme, or allow us to download a different theme, or even a refund. This is blatant fraud and I would advise everyone to stay clear of this scrupolous company. If you have downloaded a theme and it works, consider yourself lucky, as it is only a matter of time before they will steal your money as well. I am really disappointed as I was under the impression that this were suppose to be a legit company.

This company sells Wordpress Themes that not only don't fuction properly, but can crash your site. The product support which is included in price is non exsistent and consists of "this is your fault, not ours" while refusing any sort of refund. To top things off they tried to gain FTP and Admin access to my website.

Bought a template for a website I want to set up, template didn't do as it was shown, couldn't modify, couldn't do anything near what was shown or told it would do etc., applied for refund, got refund CREDIT, along with them saying that when I purchased the template I purchased credits or something along those line?? Checked all the original paperwork, invoices etc., nothing of the kind shows in the original purchase.
I actually paid using my debit card. Also the price shown was in Australian dollars, yet was charged US dollars, credit refund shows as the original Australian dollar amount, but they will not credit my debit card account at all.
On top of that, I have found another template that appears to fill what I'm after, and have asked 101 questions about it before I purchase, and now, because there is a difference of about $4 - not sure if that's US or AU either, I have to purchase yet another $20 credit - minimum amount - them use that with the existing web credit to purchase the new item, and still have yet another credit I would never use with them??
Have been to Consumer affairs, they have advised me to ask for refund to my debit card, or apply a discount to item price, or all ow me to pay the difference in a separate transaction other than purchasing more credits - have emailed Envato Market with all this, and currently waiting on reply. Not holding my breath though for a good outcome after reading all the complaints etc regarding this company.
I purchased 3 apps from a developer in Codcanyon - after 2 months of trying with the devleoper to get the apps to work I decided to request a refund and provide proof to Codecanyon that apps purchased don't function as they supposed to and prove that developer is aware of the issues.
I received an email back denied my request for refund. Read below.

This is for scripts that deverloper can't fix and also I provide prove that scripts don't work. Not too mentioned Itunes store rejected project because the app is not native while developer and Codecanyon are advertising items as native apps.
Don't waste your time buying from codecanyon because they will always find a solution not to refund people even if script or item you purchased don't work. They are in the business of promoting thief and taking people money for nothing. I just waste over $100.00 .

I am familiar with software development for embedded automotive systems, so I understand the concepts of web programming, I just did not want to learn new programming languages/systems for a simple web site. I have successfully deployed the purchased file packages on an Apache based web server, but was unable to make some very simple features work, such as a link to another page. Poking around I found that the template uses the bootsrtap framework to generate dynamic pages (getbootstrap.com) Not sure if there are missing or out of date bootstrap modules, but was never able to get support to understand the issue. While the template only cost USD 15.00, not a big deal, it is a matter of principle to expect a product that actually works, or get support if it does not.
COMPLAITS:
1. product does not work out-of-box as claimed
2. the product needs tweeking and detailed understanding of the software functionality
2. seller does not offer support phone or email listed on site
3. while I eventually stumbled on a well-hidden support/help page, I was unable to know if the support request went through (no confirmation page!)

However after the purchase I found out that not only the product was defective and did not work as advertised, but there was absolutely no support whatsoever.
When I complained, not only they did not provide any service, not only they did not refund my money, but they suspended my entire account on some fabricated pretext and consficated all the money credit that I had in my account.
