I purchased https://themeforest.net/item/annahl-organic-honey-shop-wordpress-theme/37116835 on Saturday 2022/10/01 but have not yet received a confirmation email about downloading the theme.
The payment has been charged to my PayPal account and to my bank account. I haven't receive anything and I'm already charged!
They have recurring issues with their themes and ripping people off. They have complaints all over the internet and I totally understand why. I paid for Salutation Responsive wordpress + buddypress theme, but I didn't get a complete file. It was missing files, so it wouldn't upload or work in any way. They know it doesn't work, because there are multiple complaints on facebook, google and many other places about the same theme. They keep selling it and not giving refunds. Scandalous company ran by scandalous people.
I bought two things from this company. Niether worked, so I asked for refunds. They approved one refund, but didn't give me my money back, They gave me a lousy $25.00 credit for their site, so they want to hold my $25 hostage. Avoid them at all cost. So terrible.
Buyers, you better beware! Envato will sell you a bill of goods and not deliver. The other day our organization, Ameriscribe Braille Services, purchased a WordPress Theme, Lifeline 2. Afterwards, we needed a professional installion, so we purchased the one Envato advertised for $50.00. On their site they claimed that the so-called "expert" installation would take place within 24 hours, that we would get our Theme installed and our logo installed for this one low price.
Little did our organization know, but Envato has a host of so-called "experts" lined up and ready to take you for a $50 ride. First, Envato assaigned one of those foreign nationals to our installation way off in India. Then began the drama. Next, the "expert" assigned, ekamran, residing in India, wrote in broken English so that communication was difficult at best. Then ekamran began to, what he called, install our WordPress Theme and logo. But after installing our logo, the navigation bar become inoperable. (We were given NO chance to inspect any other links within the Theme.) When we compained to him, he became upset and sent an immediate dispute to Envato complaining about how we had deleted the links and demanding his full compensation for his shoddy work. Now our problems REALLY began.
It so happens, that Envato has a legal disclaimer that all disputes will be resolved by Envato and there is no appeal. In fact, their decision is final! Like it or not. By now you probably know where this is heading...well, Envato retains the "expert" (usually foreginers residing in places like India) and then decides the issues in their favor. It was unlike anything we have ever experienced. An Envato representative named, Frank B (Senior Customer Success Officer), and his minion, Alex, ruled against our organization, stating:
"Job #132612-Express WordPress Installation: Envato Studio has resolved the dispute by finalizing this job. As a result all submitted work belongs to the buyer [that's us] and the service provider [that's ekamran] will be paid in full."
While there was a button for us to click once we approved of the installation, in reality we never even had a chance to inspect the entire site or even give our approval. Instead, Envato approved ekamran's installation and left us holding the bag of broken links and promises.
Oh, for the record, Envato does not define "install" as that term is normally used. We learned that lesson the hard way. No. What Envato said that they mean by the word "install" is simply "to import" a Theme. Yes, you read that right. Install does not mean to install so that the Theme is working. In their reality "install" means to simply "import" the Theme - if the links are broken, or you have no chance to inspect the workmanship, or you have no opportunity to approve of the installation - too bad. The so-called experts will get paid by submitting a dispute - Envato makes sure of that.
So, the next time you're in the market for a WordPress Theme, or an Express install do yourself a favor and avoid this company's rip off tactics. You'll be much better off in the end.
Envato sell themes that don't work at all and they don't refund. If you open a dispute in Pay Pal, they close your account. They ask you to close the dispute saying the might refund and they don't.
The 6 months support for the product doesn't work. It is like a scam that promisses you a service, takes the money and don't refund.

Market.envato.com and authors name is tomsky i got ripped of by this company and arthor name is tomsky, i bought a store theme and i try to get help because theres something wrong with the theme and arthor and company ignore. i emailed them for help many times, this companys really bad and should not be in business.dont ever buy from them. market.envato.com is known as themeforest
Be careful when doing business with this company. After you purchase their themes, plugins, or whatever, they offer very little customer support which is always delayed 24 to 48 hours or more. When you try to contact the company to complain about any of the people who sell things through their website you are put into a never ending loop and never provided with any direct contact link. Try clicking the contacts link at the bottom of their homepage and you will surely enter this never ending loop and will not be provided wit anyone who is willing to help you. Like the typical bulls#it online retailer, their customer service and support is horrible!
envato blocked my account after asking for refund and file a dispute claim on paypal. the reson i file dispute is after got ignored by ENVATO and the theme developer for almost 2 months asking for refund. im a customer since 2011 i never had any issue with them before but i read about them that Envato is a rip off company. they work as a scam agency . they have almost no support nearly impossible to reach them and they'll do anything just to not give you a refund.
DO not buy anything there envoto themeforest work as a mafia and they think they can do what ever they want to customers . in case youll ever need their help then you done right here. they don't care about customers . more pepole should know about themeforest Envato are Ripoff company.
I purchased a theme from Envato, and it could not be installed per the included instructions. I contacted Envato several times requesting support, and was totally ignored. When I requested a refund they simply replied: We can't refund for you. Please open ticket if you have any issues with our theme. Can you imagine having a commercial website using one of their themes, and receiving that kind of support?
I've been an Envato customer for years with no complaints and now my account has been disabled due to an open PayPal dispute, this is utterly ridiculous because all efforts to contact the seller were ignored and thus I feel that since the seller is selling scripts that are full of bugs and don’t work as described then their account should be disabled.
I received an email from Envato informing me that To proceed, I'll need to cancel the dispute. Once that is done, my account will be reactivated, then and only will they (Envato) review my concerns, and see what options they can offer.
Here’s an option for Envato: Police and monitor these dishonest sellers whom are ripping your customers off by selling inferior and non updated products on your website.
Envato Marketplace > Steal Your Money & Blame Co Policy
I have been using Envato for years now and I recently have had enough of their ridiculous lies! If you do business with Envato be aware that you NEVER make the mistake of having a left over balance with them EVER! They have set their company policy to STEAL YOUR MONEY and there is no way to retrieve it unless you make a purchase for that exact amount for some BS that you don't need and will never use. Need I say more about business practices ??? This is NOT how we do business here in the U.S. and being based in a foreign country doesn't make it OK or acceptable to RIP PEOPLE OFF! No more business from me Envato... I will find another source... You're not the only game in town!!!

I bought a website Wordpress theme on Envato theme forest, which didn't work and didn't correspond to the description.
They wouldn't refund me nor help me replace the file, even after the opening of a copmplaint that took several weeks.
Furthermore, my credits left on my Envato account has been wiped out after a year. Monies taken for no service rendered: Beware!

Hi, It's Kamran.
Whatever you said is just your point of view.
I'm afraid that even after so many days, you still didn't understood, How the job works.
I had completed my job well and we still not sure what you were expecting out of that job.
Keep complaining online for your own stupidity.

Because I complained about a buggy program they blocked me from access to ALL other softeware I had purchased.
Shameful - they also took the extra credit I had in the account.
