Endurance Warranty Services, LLC. Reviews
My wife and I purchased Endurances Superior coverage about 5 years ago, and they were everything they claimed on their commercials. Until this last year. About 6 months ago we took our vehicle to a dealer who accepted Endurance because the air conditioner stopped cooling and the fan was whining and cutting in and out. When we picked up the car, before we even moved it from the spot they had parked it, we found the air was not cooling and the "new" fan was whining. We also got hit with an over $500 bill (not the $100 deductible advertised). Turns out Endurance only allowed a reconditioned part, did not cover the diagnostic required to diagnose the problem, would not cover another diagnostic to find why it stopped cooling and did not cover the entire labor charge. In short, we paid over half a grand for a used fan. but we still figured it would be worth keeping in case something really serious happened. It did. A month ago our car suddenly started bucking going up hills, so we took it to Aamco (national chain of transmission repair garages) who accepted Endurance. They quickly figured out it was the torque converter with possible gear involment and informed Endurance of their findings. Endurance did not trust the judgement of this 50 year old transmission expert, they had to send an "inspector", which would take a day or two. We were also informed they would NOT get us a rental car, we were on our own to find one. We then found out we would only be reimbursed for $30 a day for 5 days, period. By the time their inspector showed up, finally filed his report, and the weekend, 5 days was gone before we even knew if it would be repaired. They initially only agreed to repair the torque converter, unless more damage was found when they opened it up, which it was. Endurance would not allow Aamco to repair the transmission, they were going to "send a new one". We waited another week, no transmission. They finally said they lost it, blaming the storm off the east coast. Almost another week went by, they were blaming the auto strike for the delay. My wife had had enough and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and our states Attorney Generals office. A day and a half later, "John" a Resoslution Specialist suddenly called us, promising a rental car, full reimbursement for the last one, and to cover all repair bills- IF we signed a binding agreement NOT TO SUE. We said IF they did that, we would consider it. When the transmission finally arrived (we were at a little over 3 weeks without a vehicle) it was a used transmission with over 93,000 miles on it ! The auto strike obviously had no bearing on a junk yard part. With no other options, the used transmission was installed and we went to pick up our car on Tuesday at 5:00. We got about 6 minutes down the road and, guess what ? The replaced transmission had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM only worse !!! Right back to Aamco first thing in the morning, took the mechanic and the manager for a ride, they knew instantly what the problem was. Back at Aamco, they called Endurance again, again getting the run around from"John" the Resolution guy. The Manager of Aamco was pleading with him, if they would just cover a little more for the correct repair and labor , they could fix the car perfectly. Endurance said they would have to get back to us. 2 days later, we heard from them : they will do nothing further, it's the responsibility ofthe place that sent the used transmission. So here we are, a month later, thousands of dollars paid to Endurance for Superior Coverage down the drain, no car, no money left for a rental, no repair, nothing. We are senior citizens who purchased this insurance to protect us, only to find we have been scammed. We can't go to work, our Drs appointments, the grocery store or pick up our prescriptions. We can't afford the delivery charges for any of it. Everyone should beware of these"Warranty Insurance" companies, they all have the same small print that says what they WON'T cover, and that they can furnish USED parts. Everyone should contact their States Representatives and tell them to put regulations in pace to rein in these companies who have a free hand to scam people out of their money,
I have asked Endurance Warranty company several times to tell me how much I would get in rebate if I cancel my policy. they have refused to give me an amount, Saying "I must cancel first." totally false.
Under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 90 section 7N they must give you an answer upon request... How can a consumer make an informed decision without all the facts?
Another good reason not to buy from them is they don't tell you everything about the warranty you buying or put anything on their website.. They had a few weasel clauses in their contract. then when you make a claim their answer is "You should have read your contract"
How many people read their warranty contracts besides lawyers or people in the business? i am willing to say 99% of people don t read their contracts. They have many opportunities to tell the consumer everything they need to know, about the weasel clauses in their warranty at the time of selling and on their website. but they don't
I will not buy anything from these guys again and I suggest that you don't either.
Fool me once shame on you
Fool me twice shame on me.
Now you know
Sincerely
This company is a total scam. I am actually looking for other people to be a witness for my lawsuit. If anyone is interested please contact me at gmail address - defense4all They took my money each month for over 2 years and the first claim I made on my vehicle they said there was a "mileage discrepancy" and the warranty was void. So it was void from the beginning but they continued to take my money. Complete insurance fraud. I have seen where they are selling plans to the elderly and disabled who don't even have vehicles. This company needs to be stopped. I have a lawyer and I am in need of other people they have sold policies to and then denied claims for any reason to give an affidavit for my lawsuit. I am begging anyone in any state who even thinks they have been scammed by this company to please email me at defense4all@gmail.
My truck stopped running on highway on December31st.. Called to file claim was told by customer service that claims was closed until January 2nd. Had my truck towed to local repair shop they fixed it on Monday the and Endurance denied claim because I did not have authorizing but I needed my truck before they were open again.
It is a total rip Off I checked online and they said take it any service center you want and they will pay the bill
I checked them out and got good reviews until now. Many many negative reviews.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY SUCK
The endurance warranty company denied coverage for the replacement of the engine the contract is a hybred { superior, secured plus coverages only} and on page 5 of 32 it lists valves and they are covered,
The adjuster said that their was "carbon" in the engine and denied the claim, this is on page 11 of 32 of the endurance vehicle contract the general motors dealer [ laurie] and the mechanic did not support the adjusters determination the gm dealer said it was just a hole in the valve, this is not an accredited bbb business and they have had hundreds of complaints and cancelations on your site along by many dissatified customers including myself i will try to download these documents that support my claim if nesessary i will fax or mail them to SCAMION so that you can further investigate my ongoing complaints endurance contract number is: evpu6014136 and i been a member with endurance since december 12, 2020 which expires 01/12/2026 and the contract price is [ $3,471.00 ] monthly recurring payments at ninety one { $91.00} dollars a month. If you have any more questions on this endurance warranty complaint my email address is: [email protected] and my
My cell phone number is : [ 517 ] 888- 6518 thankyou for your professional time and patience in this important business matter and have a good day.
Contacts was for an extended warranty , when i spoke to the rep they rattled off all these benefits or coverages and I asked to email me the information to look over I could not decipher all of the mumbo jumbo they recited.
I asked what I would be paying for and what they were going to provide and to send it in a document , which never arrived in the mail or through email. They seemd to get my address from some source even though the car was purchased privately.
Then the phone calls started again when I said they never sent an email of the warranty discription they modified my email address and said oh it must have been a mistake yet they had my name and address listed correct . Anyway it is apparent they are less than trustworthy and not someone I would send money to even if I won the lottery and had a sh*t ton of extra money.
My late model Mercedes coupe needed the struts replaced. Struts are covered in the contract. Endurance says they are shock absorbers, which are not covered. When you call claims, some kid, who can't make a decision, will email the "administrator."
You cannot speak with the administrator directly. The dealership service manager emailed Endurance pictures of the struts and told them this car has struts. Yet, Endurance refuses to believe their eyes and believe a subject matter expert.
I opened an Endurance Car Warranty on November 27, 2021. Initially I was very skeptical about car warranties. I researched three other competitors and read online reviews concerning car warranties in general. I thought Endurance would be a good fit for my 2013 Chevrolet Impala, but I was disappointed.
I met the claim requirements (30 days and over 1000 miles driven). On January 4, 2022, I had an oil change and maintenance checkup at Classic Chevrolet Service Center in Sugar Land, Texas. The Chevrolet dealership found some items that needed repair. The service manager and I reviewed the policy and called Endurance’s claim department. The items needing repair:
· Air condition blower motor – Listed as covered in Section VI page 12 of 35
· ABS Traction control – Listed as covered in Section VI page 11 of 35
· Door Actuators – Listed as covered in Section VI page 12 of 35
After reading my warranty, these items should have been covered, but the claim was denied.
I requested a written denial letter and the representative stated, “they don’t give written reasons why they turn down claims…just verbal”. That response seemed odd and evasive. Most insurance companies will at least give you a written reason why your claim was denied. I felt like Endurance contract was difficulty to read and their claims services was not customer oriented. They didn’t attempt to help me or address my concerns with my repairs.
I was skeptical in getting a car warranty policy, but now my suspicions have been confirmed. I will never deal with Endurance again and I think consumers need to be warned.
MY 2015 JAGUAR NEEDED A FUEL INJECTOR. BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT IS ALWAYS SERVICED SINCE DAY 1. AFTER 2 DAYS THE SERVICE MANAGER ADVISED ME THAT ENDURANCE WOULDN'T COVER THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. AFTER 2 MORE DAYS OF PHONE CALLS AND BEING PUT ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR EACH TIME I CALLED, FINALLY SPOKE TO A "ROBOT", SABRINA, VICTOR, AND GEORGE AND FINALLY TO THEIR SUPERVISOR, WILL JAYCO TO ULTIMATELY BE DENIED AND COMPENSATION.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T INSURANCE YOUR CAR WITH THESE RIP-OFF ARTISTS
I took my car to the shop with a leaking cv joint. Endurance would not pay because they claimed a "fastener" failed instead of the actual component therefore, they would not pay. They may have saved 200 bucks by denying my claim but they lost a customer forever. I will be updating my social network accounts accordingly and speaking to my family/friends about my experience.
*CAUTION: check the BBB complaints and look carefully at their contract termination methods. They may accept your cancellation over the phone however, they may strangely send a non-downloadable and non-printable form to you, instead of the actual termination form. Read the small print as they may not terminate your contract unless the form has been notarized and resent to them via fax/email.
I have been covered by Endurance for approximately five months. The air conditioning compressor in my car stopped working. I called Endurance. They told me I needed to have a diagnostic service run before I could submit a claim to confirm what was wrong with the car. The cost of the diagnostic was not covered.
The repair shop called Endurance with the results of the diagnostic to confirm why the air conditioner was broken to start the claims process. The Endurance representative explained they could not start a claim unless the vehicle was at the shop and the repair shop provided them with the diagnostic results and mileage on the car AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. Based on this information I made arrangements with the repair shop to have the car repaired on a Saturday.
I called Endurance on Thursday before my scheduled Saturday repair appointment. I said I wanted to make sure I was doing everything they needed to make sure the claim was covered. The representative told me the repair shop had to provide the diagnostic report and mileage from my vehicle AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. So, I confirmed that I was going to have my car repaired on Saturday at which time the repair shop would call them and give them the mileage and diagnostic information. The representative confirmed my understanding.
On Saturday the repair shop called Endurance. They did not pick up the phone. The repair shop recorded the mileage on my car before starting the repair. The shop called Endurance on Monday to provide them with the mileage, diagnostic information, and a list of all parts and labor from the repair. Endurance told the repair shop that the claim would not be covered because the repair had already been completed, which counted as a preexisting condition.
Endurance said they had no record of any calls made to them two weeks prior to the repair. I told them I could provide a cell phone record to show them I had called and the repair shop could also provide confirmation of calling. They said they had no calls on record and could not approve the claim. I told them the repair shop and I were instructed to provide them with the mileage at the time the repair was made, which was their requirement to file the claim.
So Endurance basically found a loophole. They would not open a claim without having a mileage report documented at the time the repair was made, but they wont cover a claim because the repair would have to be in process before they would accept the mileage report.
I told them I wanted to cancel my policy. They said they would waive my monthly $123 payment for the following month but were not willing to cancel the coverage. I said they are not providing me the coverage they said they would provide and they said it is not their fault I can't follow instructions.
In addition to having to pay them $2800 for an extended warranty plan I am also out of pocket $1631.46 for a broken air conditioner. Oh, but if they actually did cover the claim, diagnostic work is not covered, neither is sales tax, and different bits and pieces of labor fees.
I purchased my warranty 6 months ago, I did not have any pre-existing condition, car was running fine. Last month the check engine light came on, I took it to a dealership and they told me that the car has about 4 minor issues, any way, they called endurance, and guess what nothing is covered, I ended up paying for all the repairs. Second I cancelled my policy they told me I have to send in a notarized letter with the millage and they would contact me. well 3 weeks passed by, no word from them, called them up( after 40 min on the line) they told me that they received my letter, but they don't know how much money I will get back, but somebody will contact me shortly over e-mail with all the information. Well another week passed and no word from them, called again , finally got an answer, well not a happy one. After making a deposit of $279.60 and 4 payments of $139.80. and they did not spent a dime on my warranty they decided that I am entitled to a refund for $344.40. Now this is hilarious, they keeping my $500 and stating that I should be happy that I even get back that much. I'm sorry but what did you do to earn that money, they stated that the initial deposit is not refundable, because that was for the set up and to send out the membership booklet. I'm sorry but since when does it cost nearly $300 to print a 10 page booklet. They are all about getting your money. If you don't want to waste your money, do not sign up, nothing is true what they are telling.
I bought a warranty from endurance on Feb 9, 2013. They use very good tactics to make you think that this policy is a good thing. My BMW 530i tore up on June 4, 2013. By this time I had paid a total of alomost 900.00 dollars. When I took it to the dealership, the repairs totaled 4500 dollars. The service person called endurance and endurance (according to service dept.) said they would not cover anything. I then called endurance, first the guy said he is so sorry and will personally go see why it was turned down and wanted me to calle back. Second, I called again the next guy said, that the service department never called them and that the BMW dealership is lying. I said lets just cancel the policy because I am trading the car in. He said well keep the policy and transfer it to the car. I said I would rather just cancel it. He saiud that would be stupid to pay all of this money. I asked him are you calling me stupid. He then said well it is silly. I allowed him to sepak for five minutes. He discussed the benefits of the warranty. I still declined it. He was mad and then kept me on hold for 15 minutes. When he came back he said it has been cancelled. i asked how do i get my pro rata refund. Hetold me to look in the back of my contract book. Today I called to check on the status and they said of course they had not received it. (even though I sent two requests one faxed and one by mail). I ranted and raved and he said we could do it by phone. He said his supervisor would have to do it. She came on the phone and put me on hold for 10 minutes. She said I would get a refund to 270. 00 dollars.
This is a terrible warranty company.
Endurance Warrenty Services - Consumer Direct Warranty Services - Mepco (product company) Consumer Direct Warrenty Services (one of many selling brokers) Endurance Warranty Services (finance/collections company) That is the basic breakdown of this scam. Chicago Illinois
Consumer Direct Warrenty Services does not sell policies. Instead they have multiple direct sell marketers sell for them while Mepco is the finance company that does the collections. I have had my policy for a little more than 30 days. I took my vehicle in this morning for scheduled service where it was identified that my transmission cooler had a small leak. I called consumer direct warrenty services to start a claim for the repair. After being on hold by an automated system for more that 40 minutes ( I was on my cell phone as well) I decided to email the company as stated on their recording. Sometime much later CDWS called my Ford service center and sent them a lenghty form to fill out which the service department did immediatly and faxed back in my presence.
The service department finaly received a reply from CDWS denying my claim at 4:00 pm. I started this claim at approxmiatly 9:30 am. I paid for the work to be completed from my own funds and immediatly returned home to read the warranty coverage information that I received about 3 weeks after I made payment to CDWS. What I realized is that CDWS can deny nearly every claim a consumer makes against their vehicle.
Example: you notice that your vehicle has a leak of some sort. You take the vehicle in in for diagnostics which determine you have a faulty radiator hose that have allowed the coolant to fall below safe levels. CDWS will not pay for the hose repair even though it will save your vehicles engine. They can reference it as operator negligence and deny the claim.
There are many other Direct marketing companies selling similar products as well. Helpful hints: request a confirmation number that references the conservation (a month and date is not an acceptful confirmation number. BE AWARE of generic quotes that do not have your vehicles specific information on them. It is typical for marketing companies to be very generic. It makes their work much easier. BE WISE and check the web and ask friends for references.
I purchased an extended warranty on a car that I bought USED. I took the car in to be repaired. The mechanic did the diagnosis and was told that based on their intial find the engie would need to be broken down more so an adjuster could come out and look at the work. To do this cost me an additional making the cost go from $180 to $300. I paid the additional charges.
It took the adjuster 5 days to even come out and look at the car. All the while because it had not been determined if the claim would be paid I was not able to get a rental. Once he came out the mechanic stated that the adjusted didnt look at the car but just went by what was said. The problem was found to be a previous repair that was done to the car. As stated before, I bought the car used so I was not aware of nor did I think that the car would had the damage that they stated. The only way that would have been found out is to have the motor broken down.
So the adjusted denied the claim stating that the damage that was done to a total differnt part was due to a repair that I had no knowledge of. When I asked the rep how I would have know that the issue was there he told me that he had no answer for that but that I had just been "screwed" by buying a faulty car and that there was not a warranty company anywhere that would honor their policy. I again asked him how was that fair to me since 1. I am not a mechanic 2. The car ran for a year without issue 3. I bought the car used and by pulling reports I didnt see any suggestions that the work they said was performed was ever done.
I just want to get my car fixed. I bought and paid for a warranty and now am not able to get any results from that. I feel like they have used every little "wording" run around to not pay for the claim. In looking at the internet I see that I am not the only person that is having that issue.
To say the least the rep told me that at this point I was out of luck and it was nothing he could or would do to make this right. I told him I wanted to cancel my policy and he stated that was fine with him.
I wish I could spread the word all over so no one else would have to do through this, a month later still no car repair.
This company will deny they are responsible for robo dials but I know this is the company that robo dials my cell phone 2-3 times per day - every day of the year. It's disgusting. It is harassment. It is domestic terrorism. My business phone is interrupted over and over and they say it is not them. Yet the robo call says it is from Auto Warranty Services.
Google that term and their website dominates the search results. Note their address is not found on the website - total scumbags running and hiding. Our government is too stupid to investigate and stop this constant harassment.
I cancelled months ago, still being billed. I need this stopped ASAP and to let others know to stay away from this company
Timing chain gone. Claim was that chain was defective when put in my Chevy by GM. Would not give me a letter stating same to take to GM.
Also claimed any part showing ware not covered. WHAT WILL NOT SHOW WARE. ANYONE THAT SIGNED WITH ENDURANCE IS DUMBER THAN A FLAT STONE, AND THAT INCLUDES ME!!
When I got the first letter, shortly after I bought my 2018 car, I called them just to see how much info they had on my car and they did have the year and make correct - so I am assuming they purchase info from somewhere. I played dumb and said I thought my car had a warranty and would cal the dealer to ask - I was immediately told, no your dealer wouldnn't have the info - we have your file here. I was also told I would have to purchase the extended warranty right at that time as it was good for that one day only I hesitated again and then was asked "are you by any chance a senior citizen?" and when I said yes I was told they had a special offer for seniors, good just that one day. I recently received another letter stating time is running out due to the age and mileage on my vehicle and I could be liable for thousands of dollars in repair costs.
I will not fall for their high-pressure sales pitch and I actually purchased a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty from the dealer when I bought the car 6 months ago.
