Endurance Warranty Services, LLC Fraudulent Marketing, Rude Customer Serrvice, Terrible Claims Department Northbrook Illinois

I purchased my Hyundai Elantra 2005 from a local dealer. It was in good shape. Because my previous car had some maintenance issues, so I was advised by the dealer to see if I can get extended warranty (repair contract) because this car had just 80,000 miles odo meter. I contacted different warranty companies and ultimately selected Endurance Auto Coverage due to two reasons:

One, I was told that it was the "best" company in the market, far ahead ot its competitors. Two, the rates were competitive and the marketing agent (Mr. Karlus) assured me that he will provide me personalized assistance if I face any problem.

The first shock I received was when I was going to pay for this contract, I caught the discrepency between the statements of marketing agent and the booking agent. Sales person did not tell me a single word on milage condition. All he told me was that there is a one-month waiting period until the contract gets activated, while booking agent said there was one thousand miles condition also. I talked back to marketing agent and he said "the claims department can be lenient on milage but not on time period". Anyhow I understood both conditions and paid.

As I am a PhD student, I do not have much time to drive. The basic purpose this car was bought for was to assure prompt availability of vehicle for my 6-month old son if he needs to go to hospital (he was born premature and stayed in intensive care unit for two weeks). The other purpose was weekly of bi-weekly grossary and other shopping. Nothing ELSE!

I was able to drive for 1000 miles only when I had to commute nearby big city to get my son checked by a specialist. On that One day I drove about 450 miles. In the mean time, its engine checklight got on, it was O2 problem, and I paid for every thing from my pocket. Any ways, it took me two months to meet milage condition.

When my car was 90 miles above milage condition, its engine checklight got on. I immediately contacted company. They asked me to take it to a certified facility. I went there and mechanic got about 12 different issues. Out of them two were exclusions, but the company declined paying for any repair saying "these are long-term pre-existing issues". They have terrible claims department that considers every customer a lier and cheater.

When it was within milage, they said they will pay for covered parts even it is one mile above 1000 condition. My car was 90 miles above the limit. Now they said they will pay the next damage, if it happens in next two three months or after. I tried to talk to marketing agent; he did not respond. I tried to talk to customer service director and he said all he can do is return my all money but they will not follow the contract.

This is the worst kind of breach of trust one can have in this company. They abused my, called me a thief and looser and cheater, were very rude in their behvior and refused to listen to logical argument that they needed to pay for it. Endurance must be at bottom of your choice list if you want to buy an extended warranty on your used car. I purchased "supreme" package which their website home page terms as "peace of mind" "factory like warranty" and "commonly known as bumper-to-bumper coverage".

Reality is, they are keeping eye on your money and they will steal it. They gave me a full refund because they knew if I go to court, they will have to pay for it. But I do not have enough time to litigate, so had to be contended with my full refund. I will be the last person on earth to suggest you to go to this company: Endurance Auto Coverage, also known as Endurance Warranty Services, LLC.

Covered part failed, hyd. slave for clutch which caused the pressure plate, cutch and flywheel damage to be damaged. Dealer mechanic showed the service manager and myself the failed part and damage it caused by the slave cylinder going bad.

Endurance rep claimed that since truck had 1 1/2" lift kit on it (still has Chrysler factory shocks on the front) and after market wheels and big tires and that caused extra stress on drive line. Factory wheels and the tires that came on the truck were 245 x 17" and the tires now are 285 x 17" and these fit on factory wheels that are still on the truck.

So how does a supposedly 1 1/2" lift and 2 sizes bigger tires on factory rims cause the hyd slave cyliner to go bad. The mechanic and service manager both said the hyd slave cyl went bad before I ever mentioned I had Endurance.

Endurance Warranty 1-866-432-4443 and 877-414-0134 http://www.endurancewarranty.com/ Endurancy Warranty Program Internet

I have been covered by Endurance for approximately five months. The air conditioning compressor in my car stopped working. I called Endurance. They told me I needed to have a diagnostic service run before I could submit a claim to confirm what was wrong with the car. The cost of the diagnostic was not covered.

The repair shop called Endurance with the results of the diagnostic to confirm why the air conditioner was broken to start the claims process. The Endurance representative explained they could not start a claim unless the vehicle was at the shop and the repair shop provided them with the diagnostic results and mileage on the car AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. Based on this information I made arrangements with the repair shop to have the car repaired on a Saturday.

I called Endurance on Thursday before my scheduled Saturday repair appointment. I said I wanted to make sure I was doing everything they needed to make sure the claim was covered. The representative told me the repair shop had to provide the diagnostic report and mileage from my vehicle AT THE TIME THE REPAIR WAS MADE. So, I confirmed that I was going to have my car repaired on Saturday at which time the repair shop would call them and give them the mileage and diagnostic information. The representative confirmed my understanding.

On Saturday the repair shop called Endurance. They did not pick up the phone. The repair shop recorded the mileage on my car before starting the repair. The shop called Endurance on Monday to provide them with the mileage, diagnostic information, and a list of all parts and labor from the repair. Endurance told the repair shop that the claim would not be covered because the repair had already been completed, which counted as a preexisting condition.

Endurance said they had no record of any calls made to them two weeks prior to the repair. I told them I could provide a cell phone record to show them I had called and the repair shop could also provide confirmation of calling. They said they had no calls on record and could not approve the claim. I told them the repair shop and I were instructed to provide them with the mileage at the time the repair was made, which was their requirement to file the claim.

So Endurance basically found a loophole. They would not open a claim without having a mileage report documented at the time the repair was made, but they wont cover a claim because the repair would have to be in process before they would accept the mileage report.

I told them I wanted to cancel my policy. They said they would waive my monthly $123 payment for the following month but were not willing to cancel the coverage. I said they are not providing me the coverage they said they would provide and they said it is not their fault I can't follow instructions.

In addition to having to pay them $2800 for an extended warranty plan I am also out of pocket $1631.46 for a broken air conditioner. Oh, but if they actually did cover the claim, diagnostic work is not covered, neither is sales tax, and different bits and pieces of labor fees.

Sounds like you can't follow instructions....

Endurance told you very clearly they needed to speak with the auto repair tech at the time of the diagnostic and record of mileage.

Did the mechanic do that? No......no he didn't. Endurance not picking up the phone that day is irrelevant.

I recently purchased a warranty from you Endurance on March 27, 2012. On April 27, 2012 I tried to go and have some vehicle repairs done on my car. Your company would not cover them and told me that the repair facility stated this was a pre-existing condition. I contacted the manager of the claims department, and he stated to me unless I had proof of this not being a pre-existing condition they would not cover it. I then tried to fax over the receipt that the repair shop had given to me for a previous repair. They constantly stated they had not received it.

On the receipt it states that I was concerned about a noise that was coming from my car, and then it states that nothing was wrong. I ended up going back up there because I kept hearing this noise; they then told me that something was wrong. They contacted your company and it was stated that you will not pay for repairs. After all of this misunderstanding I decided this is not a good warranty company to go through. I then asked for a refund. I spoke with Eddie Perez who then stated that I would receive little to nothing back, when in fact I had never made a first payment, and that I would receive a full refund if canceled within thirty days.

I only made the initial payments that were required to start the contract. This was a total of 307.40 which I paid in two installments. I was then told that I needed to write a letter stating I wanted to cancel the contract and that I should have it notarized and then mail it in. I asked how long it could be before I receive my refund, and Eddie said it could take up to thirty days. After calling around to the different departments claims, customer service, administrative and all they had given inappropriate and nonprofessional customer service. Whatever you do, do not go through this warranty company!

Endurance Warranty Company auto warranty Northbrook Illinois

Endurance refused to pay a claim to repair my ABS system in my car. I was told that all I need to do to file a claim is to have an authorize dealer phone in a claim if anything happens to my car. I took the car into the dealership and they were told by Endurance that they would need to send an inspector out first. This was not what they told me when I purchased the warranty. Ok I was fine with the inspector coming out even though to took almost a whole week! The inspector said the problem was preexisting!! Endurance denied the claim and refuse to pay. I called the warranty company and they said the dealership told them the problem was preexisting. I didn't know who to beleive but I do know that the problem started a couple of days before I took my car into the shop. Endurance is a fruad and does not honor what they say. They had no reason to believe the problem was preexisting.

We were referred to Donnie Brown by our landlord to help us fix our credit so that we would be able to purchase a home. We had to pay him $800. He told us that he would have our score raised enough to qualify for a mortgage in 90 days or less. What he did was just mail out a general dispute letter to ALL of the open creditors we had. Due to this, several mortgage companies have stated that it looks like we are committing fraud by disbuting everything which includes my student loans. He rarely followed up with us and at one point we had to contact our landlord as we had not heard from him for such a long time. Now, 10 months later we have a lower score by what he did and when I contacted him he stated that I was lying. I told him that I wanted all my money refunded as this was basically a scam. He hung up. I immediately called back and told him that we were not satisfied and he stated that he has a spotless record and owns many businesses. When I explained that I had seen several complaints and would be filing one myself he told me I was threatening him and hung up again. DO NOT use this "person" for your credit repair. As far as I'm concerned he stole from me and my family and made it harder to try and fix the mistakes he made. Total SCAM!

SCAM

I never closed the deal and they sent me a contract and robbed me of 241.00 bucks. They needed updated information, and I never reached back out to them because I got sick assuming they wouldn't finish an unauthorized transaction. A post payment set up date was to be made along with updated mileage before completing the transaction and they charged me 120.00 more than the special that was offered. they made up the mileage, damn that's desperate. LOL...

I received a possible scam letter from a company called endurance warranty services llc that i suspected right away was a scam. I called the number to see how i would be treated on the phone by this company, and sure enough, it was a stupid kind of telephone call where the man who talked with me acted real friendly and polite, but he was obviously out of it in terms of any real information he seemed to have on my vehicle. He was a real brat. The telephone number which i was directed to call as soon as possible in response to the demand for "immediate attention" was as follows: 1-877-882-0147.

I have an endurance Vehicle Service Contract. I took my vehicle to my local Ford dealership for a slipping transmission issue. An inspector was sent out to verify the failure and a week later I thought I was good to go to get the repairs made. Instead I was advised by endurance that a tear down of the transmission is needed to determine "cause of failure". A second inspector would need to come out and assess. This would require an additional 6 hours of labor on top of the 3 hours of labor that was already done. I advised endurance that the dealership is recommending that the transmission be replaced.

I was advised by endurance that the teardown was necessary as it may be a small component that could be fixed. I advised endurance that I feel like they are looking for any reason not to cover the repair. I followed through and did what was asked and waited several more days for tear down and inspection. Now I am told that the repair claim is denied because of a seal . I asked endurance how the seal directly correlates to the failure in the transmission (2nd gear slipping). I didn't receive a clear answer on this.

I feel that there are some questionable practices taking place in regards to my current claim and would like a resolution. I have not received a clear answer on why my claim was denied. It seems as though I am now required to pay labor costs to have an inspector come out and find a reason to not cover my vehicle. I have done everything by the book on my end and I would like for endurance to follow through with a resolution on their end. I received a call from what they call a lead agent and was 1st offered a waived month then a 200 dollar credit and finally a 1200 dollar refund of payments made into my policy.

The 1200 dollars won't even pay labor costs of the shady endurance "cause if failure practice". The dealership made it clear in the beginning that the transmission needed to be replaced. Instead of honoring the claim endurance is now processing a refund for my money paid into the policy and kicking me off. I drove my vehicle in for repair thinking Endurance had me covered but will not be driving it anytime soon due to the waste of time and hassle that this company put me through. What a ripoff! This company will do everything in their power not to make good on a claim.

I watched an endurance advertisement on TV. After listening to there TV's auto expert representative State that there warranty program would pay all labor and parts and I would not be out of any pocket exprense. I made my full payments for about a year and an half ago paid in full.

In March 2017, I use endurance for the first time to repair my Ford Explorer and Endurance paid their share of $170.00 minus $100.00 deductible. In April 2017 Ford Exporer display a check engine light. I took my vehicle to the Ford dealership: I'm not going to describe what I went through to try to get Endurance to pay for the cost of repairs $751.47 which they denied to pay using exclusion. You have heard from others about their behavior and false advertisement.

What I'm going to say is if you decide to get extended vehicle coverage service, Don't listen to the False advertisement spin. If you talk to a representative from endurance or any extended coverage asked them about their EXCLUSIONS policy in the contract. This is what they use to get out of paying vehicle repairs. Once you see what is not covered I believe you make the right decision.

Endurance warranty endurance warranty is a scam! nationwide

I shopped for car warranties for my audi a5 after my extended coverage expired. After speaking to a couple of different automobile extended warranty companies and doing searches online to try and find the good and the bad about these extended warranty companies that i had spoke to i decided to take a chance on endurance. The initial person that i spoke to at endurance could not have been kinder. She was the perfect picture of what a company should want in a salesman. She was a smooth talker! i purchased the select premier coverage. There was an initial waiting period of 60 days and 1,000 miles that had to pass.

Routine maintenance had to be done during that time which was a understandable. The contract called for me to get the cars oil changed after the date of coverage was taken out and within the first 30 days by a licensed repair facility. I did that. Every single thing that i was suppose to do happened. The car failed this past week and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had my aaa tow my car to audi of hilton head, the company that has always done my normal service work. I gave the service technician my warranty information along with the numbers he needed to call and explained to him that i had purchased an extended warranty.

This morning i got a call from that service technician and the timing chain had slipped due to a pulley which is suppose to be covered under my warranty. The technician told me that he had spoke to someone in claims at endurance warranty and that they were not covering the part because it's considered "normal wear". I called the claims department and got a rude claims adjuster on the phone who i could tell is extremely well versed in how he is suppose to handle every call that he gets and he told me that i was not covered and told me to read my coverage booklet which i had already done. He told me that he would gladly refund me for the warranty and cancel it. That's too easy of a way out for endurance in my opinion. I'm fairly educated, i'm a real estate broker in georgia, florida and south carolina along with having a finance degree and i own a real estate company. I'm amazed that companies like endurance try and pride themselves on their reputation when in fact their reputation is not worth the paper it's written on...Literally! read the reviews. The negative reviews about this company are here for a reason! i would bet the positive reviews are only done by associates with endurance and there's technically not that many!

Endurance extended warranty are pigs. My car has been in shop for 21 days. They will only pay for after market power steering pump but not my radiator. Shop still waiting on pump. They would only pay for eight hours of car rental. Everytime i called each person had a different lie. This company is the worst of the worst. They prey on people and don't live up to their promises. They are low life skunks. So if you are looking for a warranty do not go with this company unless you have money to burn.
