This company has worked with me all of the way to give me relief from payday loan hell. They have gone above and beyond in changing due dates to help when I had unexpected medical bills. Always kind, compassionate and helpful I would recommend them to anyone who found themselves caught in the nightmare of payday loans. They worked with my creditors to obtain a settlement less than what I originally owed. I am blessed that I found this company because they have given me my dignity and hope back.
I too was going through solid ground, then put with company. I request information, and they dont get back with me. Am canceling tomorrow and going thru a different company. Fees are high. I asked them once how they got paid, they stated you know thru fees. I did not question it further. I guess this is how I got into trouble to begin with. Wish me luck.
I told solid ground financial how much i could afford and the lenders i owe. They placed me with one of the many debt relief companies that negotiate. I read the whole encompass contract and agreed to their settlement fee. They only charge it after they got my 6 settlements and they saved me me between 400 to 3000 for each settlements. And everytime i call they work with my payment changes without crashing my settlements. I am outraged by how much the creditors inflate the price but i did sign their contracts so i legally owe them w/e they charge. Thanks to encompass im getting out of this mess, after that im done with payday loans.
THID COMPANY IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL IT IS RIDICULOUS. i first signed up with solid ground financial and was referred to this company without even knowing it, i told myself who the hell is encompass.. well now i got a good idea, i tried to call in and cancel my account after reading some reviews and everything people are saying is 100 % true, i was told they were going to work for me go above nad beyond begging for me to stay with them and every single time i told them no no no no, and the reps are very dis orderly laughing at me getting upset stating for me not to attack them , talking to the boss he did the same damn thing im pretty sure it was the same person, very unprofessional i probably dont make alot of sense right now because im upset but im warning you people STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ENCOMPAS AND SOILID GROUND FINANCIAL AND IF THEY HAVE YOUR BANKING INFORMATION CANCEL THE ACCOUNT
I was in the program and after seeing how much I was paying I thought I almost paid off. However, that's not the case, I paid mainly their fees only and not even any of loans. Yes, they did get me a great settlement, but I have been paying over $400 for the last 6 months and none of loans has been paid.
So, once I notice this I requested my payments to be stopped over a month ago. They did grant my request, but a month later when into my account without my autthorization. I then called and they tried to talk me into staying with them, however, after finding out they charge $10 per payment to send out my payments. I told them I can do that myself for less and pay it off way quicker. However, my account was charge without authorization, and now I have to prove that my account was charged. When she already apolozied for going back into my account when they were told not to.
People beware, your creditors will settle with you yourself, don't use these type of companies. They work with creditors to cost you more money. The amount of money you payout, you really didn't save nothing, but your check being garnished. Talk with your creditors before it gets that far, and agree on settlement amount creditors. You can also get a lawyer to draft up a settlement agreement. More than usaual, your creditors will accept the same agreeement these debt companies.
I saw some negative reports on this company, but was hopeful and desperate enough to attempt working with them. In the beginning, they were helpful - my monthly payment was reduced by half, and they answered my emails within a couple of days. After six months, I was no longer able to afford the large monthly payments, and I came into some money that I wanted to use to pay off my entire debt. When I contacted the company, they said that only four of my six creditors had settled. I did the math, and I should have paid in more than enough to settle those four companies. Unfortunately, the fees involved (some sort of legal protection???) took a large chunk of the payments I had made. I decided to pay enough to pay off those settlements, and then handle the last two creditors myself. After six months, this professional debt negotiation company couldn't negotiate? The debit company took the normal payment from my account, which after the ridiculous fees left $118 that should have been refunded. I was told it would take 3-4 weeks for it to be settled and refunded.
After five weeks, I do not have my refund. Today I got an email (from the same representative who told me 3-4 weeks) that their compliance department is auditing my account, to make sure THEY didn't make any errors. That is not my problem. No matter how desperate you are, please do not use this company. Find a non-profit organization, or a company with a better representation. This company is not going to help you.
