On March 2, my car broke down. I needed a tow, so I called Emergency Roadside Assistance and Towing, in Parkland, Washington. When they lifted my car, they unknowingly cracked my oil pan. This was discovered the next day by a mechanic. I called and told the tow company about it. They said they would send someone out to look at it on March 5…nobody came.
I called them back and they told me they would send someone out on March 6…nobody came. When I called to follow up, they refused to return my calls. I had my car towed to the Audi dealership to have it repaired. Audi called Emergency Roadside Assistance and Towing and also has not received a call back. The cost to repair the damage they did was $800.
I am a 21-year-old college student trying to finish my degree on my own. I don’t have this kind of expendable funds. In order to pay for this damage, I missed my rent payment and was late on other bills. I had to borrow money from my friends (who really can’t afford to loan me money) to get caught up. Luckily, my landlord accepted my 2-week late payment and didn’t evict me.
Now I’m scrambling to save enough for my next month’s rent in 2 weeks. I need my car for my job. When I am not going to classes, I drive for Uber Eats. So when my car is down, I can’t work. I need to work to pay for college. Emergency Roadside Assistance and Towing has been absolutely horrible to work with. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Otherwise, they will damage your vehicle, take no responsibility for it, and you will be out hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Use one of the many other tow companies for your towing needs. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND TOWING!!!!!!
