I have been driving a truck for 33 years and I strongly suggest that you DO NOT work for this company. They will not pay you your back wages, reimburse you for your out of pocket cash expenses, or pay you your $1,000 dollar escrow, when you quit. You will never get the thousand dollars but make sure you get all your other money before you quit. Someone has to stand up to these people. I will do what ever I have to, to get my money. I worked hard for that money and for them to think that, they just don't have to pay me because they want to keep the money in there pockets, is wrong. I have no doubt that no one has seriously challenge them before, they think there will be no consequences for their bad behavior. An individual has 2 years to file a claim for back wages. I made deliveries for emba. Would turn in bill of lading, as they required. I quit because company unorganized unprepared. Truck seat belt passenger side broke and passenger door did not lock. And their were ticks in the truck. So anyway they tell turn in the paperwork and it takes 3 business days to process and you'll get paid. Well that's not the case. It took a week in a half the first pay and the office manager did not have the common sense nor professionalism to spell my name correctly on the check, plus scribble over her mistake. So when i tried to cash the gave banker suspicious plus check number was wrong. So i had to go to emba, and have them to write another check. Then I took another load out the same week. Like June 14 2018, and I was expecting $1550 . But they put $331.44 on debit fuel card. And said i wont be able to the rest, pretty until they get everything from whomever. So i to get $331.44 it would not allow me to. Saying , unable to authorize checks. So I contact the office manager kriston and she continued to give me the run around. Saying some one else has to double check behind her, and she handling other business and she'll get back to me. Its been roughly 4 weeks
I really don't know where to begin... fuel was never available when needed, I was repoed in the truck while I was working in Oklahoma, pay was a few days late and then gradually became 2 to 3 weeks late. I have never been lied to cheated and not paid ever on a job as much as these people have. It was so stressful... I have been gone a little over two months now and I'm finally just catching up my bills. These people are crazy I would not suggest anyone to try and work with them. They sell you dreams and won't pay you money. Marissa Kristen and Elmore are con artist that believe that Americans are slaves to their wannabe dream of a company... I guess I'm going to stop here but I could go on for weeks... Run... Don't get in... Get out!!
I drive for this company it starts out ok but then you have to call kelli in dispatched to all if fuel card all right to use n now with my pay i deliverd my last load on feb 3 2017 n when paid come no money in checking account called accounting n talked to allison n asked to question of were my pay then said ill hold equipment then marasa called n we talked about the problem with emba next day feb 8 they deposited 1867.74 in my account then my last load pay was due of 1123.92 on Feb 13 but they have not deposit so i called they said it but in there on the 17 but to this date march 7 still waiting called them sometime they ask n when they do it allison n she say the same thing so be warned this is a bad company to work for
