I experienced a new level of aggressive and dishonest. Stay clear of this company…..
I requested data for a campaign, sounds simple.
They Online Chat Support “bot” Gina offered to place the request for me. This is the 1st time I did this and I would think the company would know to ask you the necessary questions to provide a good service.
I was told to pay then they will provide me the data. I paid. When I got the data it was not usable. I send them mail to note that this is not what I was looking for, needless to say….crickets… I went back online and found “Gina” again and explained the problem. She scolded me and said I was not specific enough.
I apologized and asked if she can please rectify it. I ensured her I will not use the data, cause its worthless to me…She threaded to sue me and fine me $15,000.00 if I do use the list. She furthermore said she will contact all the users on the list she send me and help them sue me if I contact them. I agreed I will not. She then said she will provide me with a new list in 6-8 hours. Again crickets…I figured its Christmas so I will wait till after the holidays then contact them again. I send another mail…I called (the phone number listed on the web is no longer in service). I went back to “Gina” the chat bot…I explained the situation, and again was met with aggression and told to pay again. While I was trying to explain, I was blocked from future communication.
I am out of the $445.00 I paid and have no usable data. Stay clear of this company…..
At first Email-List Marketing appears very legit and customer oriented. The concept and the demos work great; that is, until they get your money. Everything works great until you actually sign up and they secure your billing information. That is when the real trouble starts.
The so-called service is $200/month ... which is not all that bad if the system did what it's supposed to do. But, as you probably have already surmised, that did not happen. Instead I was left with software, worthless email addresses, and no real way to send them out. I was willing to chaulk it up to experience. I knew at that point that it didn't work, and that it was not going to work.
I never used the system again; but they kept billing my account without so much as a peep. Ask yourself this: how many auto billing or auto pay accounts do you have that bill with no notification whatsoever? When I discoverd that the company was still billing my credit card four months later, I called and agreed to let them keep the $600 as my penalty for not reading the fine print on their BOGUS terms of service. But that was with the stipulation that they not process a "pending" charge for another $200! Guess what? They charged it anyway.
I submittted a dispute to my credit card carrier, stating that these scammers had already been paid $600 in FREE money, but that I did not want the final charge made. One would think email-list.com would do something right and be satified with the $600 they had already stolen. But they wouldn't go quietly. Email-list.com submitted the paperwork showing that my email notification came after my phone call (but before the pending charge went through). So now they have taken $800 for which I received ZERO DOLLARS ($0) in value! This was a very expensive lesson, which does not negate the fact that this business is a total and complete scam.
Do not do business with these folks. You will get Ripped Off!
Hostile Owner - Curses at Customers. Called "Piker" by sales-rep, then when called for manager, manager/owner "Sam" used profanity and cussed me out!
I used their online chat service. Spoke with a girl by the name of "Jen", which looks like a fake stock image. When I asked for a "Sample" of the service, the person called me a "Piker" (British curse word).
Now, I'm in America, thinking this is a US Based company. When I called the 800 number to report the BAD salesman to a manager, I spoke with "Sam" - He told me he is the Owner, and then proceeded to brag about the fact that he makes "millions" (?) I advised him of my poor experience with his sales person, and he said "I read the chat, and you ARE a "piker", an "a-hole", and called me every name under the sun!
ALL because I simply requested a sample, then was cussed out by the sales person, then again by the owner when I called to report that sales person! (SEE ATTACHMENTS - I SAVED THE CHAT FOR PROOF!!!)
