I attended Elmira business institute in July 2015, untill September 2015, at that time in September I spoke to Dean Emily and was trying to withdraw do to emotional issues in my life revolving around my son. I was told by Dean Emily to stick with the school because it would be cheaper for me, he was more concerned about the money aspect rather than what I was emotionally going through. So I stuck with his advice and rode it out for another month and at that point I had no choice but to withdraw do to my ongoing issues with my son. A month passes I received a document saying that I owed $6,000 to the school, for one they never gave me my refund money that I was allotted. when I Went to the main office and to speak with Dean Emily they told me we can't help you it's not our business and nor do we care what happens in peoples personal life's. so emotionally withdrawn this was like a knife in my back so I didn't have energy to deal with this anymore. This school is the worst I've ever seen and they ruined my future opportunities to better my life with education and now that I would love to attend school I cant because of this $6,000 that I supposily owe for 2 months of attending. If anybody can help with any info so that I can fight this in court would highly be appreciated because i cant afford lawyers fees
These people keep billing after I left there campus paid them off and they keep saying I own them. I don't owe that piece of school s***! They did nothing for me the time I was there and store my Financial aid checks for their personal use. This is ridic They keep billing me and they took my Financial aid money when I was attending.
Keep billing me, not a student there anymore. They took my Financial aid money for their personal use! I am not the only one who has a problem with these people! Scammers!
I lost my job last year and was going to get a TRA to go to school yes I might have gone about in the wrong way but they should have told me it had to have it approved through TRA the program that I was going to take I had to have two year degree but I have to work to pay my bills so I couldn't do that. I chose medical billing and coding instead of them telling me I couldn't do that they told me to go class and they would take care of it now I'm stuck with a 3,000 bill and had no job and I had just gotten my credit on the right road they told me I had set up payment arrangements or they report me to credit bureau. They applied for a loan for me which I did not want but they told me I had to because I couldn't attend class. They told me to go to class then they switched my degree to a business degree which I did not want. I worked in PA and the TRA department told me I had to do PA and PA was telling me I had to go to New York because that's where I lived I so I was confused about what to do. They should have informed me that I needed to get the TRA approved first they cohurstd me into it. Instead of being honest about what I needed to do I had no money because I just moved. They are terrible school and I will tell everyone about what they did to me.
