OVERALL: Purchased a 2006 Land Rover with the owner's promise that several small issues would be taken care of. They never were and the owner continues to avoid my calls. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Staff will give you the "Run around" IF someone actually answers the phone. BUYING PROCESS: Rushed through completing paperwork to finalize sale. Was told by owner to initial that I agree to purchase the vehicle "As Is" with the promise that Ella's would make any necessary repairs. QUALITY OF REPAIRS: No repairs made by Ella's Auto Outlet. Had over $5000 in out of pocket expenses to repair vehicle. Land Rover is still not fully operable. FACILITIES: All overhead lights on the lot were not lit due to power outage. Initially, was shown vehicle with the assistance of headlights from another vehicle. COMPLAINT TO BBB: Purchased a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover from the dealership in December 2016. Pointed out several things that still needed to be provided by the owner: Left Tail Light Cover 4 Car Mats Tailgate Lift Hatch Shock Struts The owner assured me that these parts would be ordered and mailed to my residence. With that in mind, I drove the vehicle approximately 30 miles and the check engine light came on. I immediately called the dealership but they were closed.

I left a message for the owner to contact me as soon as possible! I contacted the dealership the next morning to explain what happened. The owner instructed me to take the vehicle to an ASE approved mechanic and have a diagnostic test done. I was told by the owner that I would be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses. The mechanic informed me that the following issues needed to be addressed: Fuel Induction/Injection Service Replace Coil Package Refill Transmission Fluid Replace Transmission Pan Reseal Transmission Pan Replace Gas Gauge Replace Tire Pressure Sensor Replace Front Shock Absorbers Replace Rear Shock Absorbers Replace Tailgate Lift Hatch Shock Strut Replace Front Hood Lift Hatch Shock Strut New Front Drive Shaft I contacted the owner to let him know what the mechanic said and how much it would cost to repair my vehicle. The owner agreed to mail the necessary parts to mechanic and to pay for labor costs. The owner mailed the Transmission Pan to the mechanic and said I would be reimbursed for the labor costs. I've received no other parts for my vehicle, no reimbursement for labor costs, and the vehicle has not been fully operable since I purchased the Land Rover from Ella's Auto Outlet.

For months, I continued to contact the dealership and speak with the various sales people, the secretary, to co-owner and the owner only to get promises that the parts would be sent to me and my vehicle would be repaired. As of today's date, the owner has still not rectified the situation and refuses to take my calls. If you ever find yourself in the same perdicament, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contact the local news station in Spotsylvania County, Virginia to make them aware of your dissatisfaction with Ella's Auto Outlet.
