FB paid advertisement beware

bought a silicon egg/picklet item free just pay postage...so yep paid postage $2.77au and yes I got it BUT 2 months later was billed $14au so feb/march AND April...I ignored the previous months one because i buy a lot from ebay using paypal and thought one must have been different so didn't follow thru only to my surprise ANOTHER one this month so went to bank and found the 3 month x payments to their "elite club". traced it back to the silicon egg ring thing. Bank said doubt I will get money back as SOMEWHERE in their links and other pages of "fine print" will be that you agree to signing up for the monthly club. So now my card is chopped up and i can NOT access my account until my new card arrives which cost $7 and that will take 7-10 business days... so it turns out to be an expensive egg ring, that is about all I can say. If it seems too good to be true it ALWAYS IS

scam

I ordered a bracelet in good faith not realising the scam they were committing until I checked my monthly bank statement. They took £48.50 without my knowing, you are unable to contact them, the phone number they have is unobtainable. I have contacted my bank and they are going to investigate this whole sorry state of affairs. I do think that I should of realised if it's too good to be true it usually is!!! I still haven't received the bracelet.

On august 17, 2017 at 10:40 am. Manila time), i ordered online from "elite savings club" ("the merchandiser") their two (2) units of "night sight hd" products which the "merchandiser" had posted as paid advertisement in my facebook account. After reading the description about their product, i placed my order through their webpage and paid them through my credit card.

They sent me the confirmation of my order through emails in a few minutes' time. However, to my surprise, i was not given an option form to sign up for the monthly subscription for "special members only" that will grant "access to an exclusive online store offering products from the biggest distributors on the web, all for manufacturer cost, saving between 40% to 75% on almost every product."

Eventually, i found out from my credit card billing statement last night that "the merchandiser" had deducted the monthly subscription fee amounting to u.S. $8.95 for three months; that is, from september, october to november. So immediately, this afternoon, i clicked their website and email address to cancel my subscription. But there is no way that i could access them. I searched their website on the google browser and i found out that their facebook account is no longer active. I clicked their "contact" menu so i can find if there is other information to access them, but to no avail.

After i found out about these scam activities of "elite savings club" ("the merchandiser"), i called up my bank, the issuer of my credit card, to block and cancel the monthly subscription payment automatically deducted from my credit card. Why are they charging me the monthly subscription fee when there is no such "exclusivity store" in existence online where i can access their website or just communicate with them through email or landline telephone communication? There is no way i can contact them. Then my bank said they will investigate this "elite savings club" activities after i filed my complaint against this "merchandiser."

As of now, this is what i can say in this report against "elite savings club" whose online activities are questionable and allegedly involved in scam.

I just hope you will inform other victims to file their complaint against this "merchandiser" so we can prevent it from victimizing other potential online buyers of its products.

Scammer

I ordered a silicon cooking mat from a FB site because it was pay for shipping only. The mat would not have been a quarter of the size in the FB ad. I had made a lot of purchase around the same time via EBay which is always paid through PayPal. . When I saw the 1st deduction for around $13.plus GST, I thought it was one of those purchases being paid a different way. Then in August I saw a deduction I didn't recognise. I checked through my statements and found 4 deductions from elitesavingspro.com. I spoke to the bank and they found another 3 from granddepartment.com. The bank cancelled my card and I have been reimbursed. The bank reversed the payments to this "company" ?? They may hear from the "company" about a contract but as a previous post said, it's buried deep in paperwork they never send to you. I got my money back because this "company" is a recognised scam. I won't buy off FB sites again especially those saying to just pay for shipping. I checked on EBay and you can get the same products. Don't buy from FB sites. Check EBay Or Amazon or Wish.
