Sales contract specifies pedigree with parents having "V" titles and "a" stamped hips, meaning they have passed many standards for the breed. When I became suspicious of the quality of my "elite" dog as she got diagnosed with cancer (sarcoma) in January 2019, the breeder Cindy Hiemenz of Elite German Shepherds was unable to provide any of the requested documents proving her pedigree with the certifications listed on the sales contract. Sent a formal demand letter requesting documents and have been ignored for 60+ days. My belief is the breeder is lying and claiming titles and health certifications that do not exist. By making these claims, she is charging top dollar, ripping off ignorant or trusting consumers. A board member of the AKC GSD club also cannot find any proof of my dog's pedigree's titles. Do your research. Search "Von Fenwald" as her business is Von Fenwald's Elite German Shepherds. There is a clear pattern of these actions. Be very educated before you buy a puppy!
**UPDATE** SHE STILL REFUSES TO PAY THE JUDGEMENT ORDERED IN MY FAVOR! WHAT ETHICAL AND REPUTABLE BREEDER JUST IGNORES THE COURTS RULING? She's nothing but a high end puppy mill.** I purchased a "import" from her back in 2017. Turns out that my dog is not an import as she could not provide any documentation to the court to prove that my dog was in fact imported.
No international chip, no pet passport "compliments of united" (they lost it)(SHE NOW CLAIMS SHE GOT THE LITTER FROM ANOTHER BREEDER HERE IN TEXAS BUT NOT ONCE EVER STATED THAT! SHE CANT EVEN KEEP HER STORY STRAIT) After going through court and winning, she still has yet to pay me. I was recently contacted by another person who purchased from her, and her dog is 2 years old and has cancer! She is still advertising pups with the same mom!
She even tried to blame the customer instead of taking ownership! Does she actually do genetic testing and follow the SV guidelines? My "alleged" dogs father was said to have severe elbow dysplasia when I reached out to Germany regarding it. But her Serbia info came back just fine! Also, she claimed that dogs from Serbia didn't require an international chip. They do!
How did my dog get imported with NOTHING! My dog from the Bad Blood Kennels, she has some pups listed and I could not even find that the mother she was registered at all ANYWHERE. If she is, then great, but I could not find anything. You will pay anywhere from $3000.00 to $4500.00 for a pup. I have found other breeders that sell Pink Papered pups for $3000.00. People say that she stays in touch, no.... She just does an initial check up and thats it.
I reported her to the Attorney General and thats public record. Our court records should also be public so you will know that I was in fact awarded my claim. She is ridiculous! Google, AND YELP her name and add Chicago to it, you will be surprised what the internet shows off rip off report.com and consumer complaints! Take you business elsewhere and save yourself the headache of dealing with an unethical "breeder" if she can even be called that.
This lady has done the same thing to me regarding getting paperwork for your puppy after the sale. I would highly recommend using someone else to purchase your K-9 from and make sure you get something in writing that says they will provide you with the proper AKC paperwork without restrictions after the purchase
If you had a problem with Limited Registration that should have been addressed when You Read and Signed Your Contract! Since you Refused to sign your name to the Post, it is impossible to comment on the exact pup you got.
Limited Registration is a valuable tool sanctioned and recommended by the AKC to Protect the pups from being bred too early, and to Protect the Integrity of the Bloodlines.
Our dogs all have the ability to have their Limited Registration Reversed. But you must prove that they are worthy of being bred, Not hard to do. And we're always here to help you accomplish that goal. Interestingly enough over 98% of our customers agree and abide by those rules.
Breeding you German Shepherd is considered a Privilege in Germany and only to those dogs that have proven themselves.
Many of our customers have fulfilled the few requirements such as certain health screening tests and had their registrations reversed and allowed to produce beautiful litters. We even help them find the correct Stud Dogs and assist them every step of the way from conception thru the birthing and placement of their pups.
Those that complain, like the person who posted, generally want to breed their dogs as early as 7 months old (still a puppy itself ) and to what ever dog might be convenient, usually another uncertified dog of unknown descent. As a breeder I feel I have a responsibility to protect our pups and their lives. These are not just dogs.
