We wanted to purchase a commerical Ice Cream Machine. We contacted Electro Freeze and they issisted we use their Polish distributor Vegagastro. We paid for deposit and as soon as travel restrictions were lifted (COVID) we flew half way around the world to see the machines operate.
We had booked a meeting with the Director of Vegagastro in Poland. We contacted him two days before the proposed meeting and he said he was not able to attend the meeting. The director then booked anotrher date two weeks later. He failed to attend that meeting as well.
When we finally were able to view the machines we notice the machines were constantly in alarm (low liquid level sensor). The director of Vegagastro advised us that the sensors all break during shipping from the USA. On return to Australia I followed up the issue of the faulty sensors to Vegagastro and to Electro Freeze. My emails were both ignored.
As these machines have such a fault the use of this machine was not going to be acceptable to us. We asked Vegagastro for a refund. They explained it was impossible. As Electro Freeze has a good standing I readhed out to the President of Electro Freeze and he did not help at all in getting our money back, basically he didn't care about us.
I explained to both companies that un Australian Consumer Law that we are legally entitled to a refund. They did not respond to this email as well. In our expierence I would not recommend Electro Freeze or Vegagastro as they will take your money and good luck after that if you have any problems. We feel we were completly ripped off and no one from Electro Freeze or Vegagastro cares about their customers.
