Eldorado Resorts, Inc. Reviews
I am writing in regard to a timeshare Las Vegas-Grandview
I have read some of the complaints on here in regards to the selling of these Timeshares and all the lies you were given from these people, simply Disgusting but unfortunately I am in the same boat as I was co-earsed into getting one of these 2 bedroom apartments also.
The stories that were on this website never come to any conclusions, I have recently seperasted from my partner and am struggling to make payments, the timeshare was under both our names and I AM going to stop making payments or I will be living on the streets, I currently pay $650 US Dollars a month which is equivalent to $1000 minimum NZ dollars depending on the exchange rates in which it has been payed for 2 years and the contract doesn't end until 2021. This was easier to pay when there were 2 but not easy with 1.
My questions are fairly obvious, because (WE) as it is under both our names do not live in America, dont really care if they bad credit me in America as it is obvious I do not live there, not even worried whether I use the said Timeshare as the week they gave me was a waste of time anyway as I told them during the session but they rushed us out. What are the repercussions for not paying this Enormous debt off.
We put this up for Sale on Sell my Timeshare in America which again cost us around $1200 NZ, which I am not going to do again because in comparison to all the other Timeshares sold on that website for the grandview-Vegas we had no show as some were being sold for $5, seems to me that this is another Rip off Idea.
Please if anyone has any ideas for me or answers, send me a reply.
I and probably my ex partner have fun memories of America except this being a nightmare, financial issues became a big thorn in my side, and this was probably the cream on the cake to a lot of our seperation.
Thank you,
Look forward to hearing from people in the same predicament.
On 12/22/2009 my wife and I visited Las Vegas,Nv.for the first time in our lives. As we entered the Lobby of the hotel we were stopped by a young lady at a desk and were told that for attending a one hour sales presentation we would be given complimentary tickets to a popular theater presentation at 8:00 that evening. Since it was not yet 3:00 and it sounded harmless, we agreed. After getting checked in we boarded a bus to anoher hotel where we were escorted to a cubicle occupied by a salesman who spent the next two hours telling us about the virtues of owning a timeshare. I told him we were retired and living on a fixed income and were not likely candidates for buying a timeshare. The salesman was a man named Al Poisdon, who told us his friends called him poison Al because once you met him you were sure to buy from him.
He went thru an entire littany of various timeshare properties with me continually pleading poverty or lack of interest in the item he was describing until we got to the lowest cost timeshare he had available which was an every other year one bedroom timeshare which he then went thru a spiel on how we 1] could afford it 2]We got most of the value of owning a timeshare at very little real cost 3] The timeshare did appreciate and over the last several years had gone up 3 to 5% per year and present prices were already known to be going up the first of the year and we should buy now and realize an immediate increase in value in very short order. No guarantees, of course, but there was no reason to think that things would be any different in the foreseeable future. My wife and I both have serious health issues that have prevented us from using the timeshare. Over the past two years I have tried 10 to 12 times to sell the property only to find out that i was lied to about its desireability , the value of the property and the likelihood of my being able to sell it at any price.
I have tried twelve or more companies thatclaim they will sell yourtimeshare only to find, upon research that they are a scam. I have even spoken with attornies that , according to the Inernet, have reputations as scams. Even companies that link themselves to radio talk show hosts turn out to be parasites as well...
