A little backstory about me (her previous cilent for 6 months):
I am a musician living in orange county and I reached out to Eileen and her company for publciity duties. She seemed nice enough at first and promises you the world while also making you sign a contract to pay her $10,000 a month on retainer for publicity duties. I happily oblige and pay up, thinking she will deliver on her promise.
Months go by, no such pubclity duties are perfomed. No press releases, no events, no meetings, NOTHING AT ALL. Meanwhile, she kept pitching idiotic things for me to spend more money on that literally serve NO purpose. Everything she tries to convince you to buy in addition to your publicity contract, are all services from her FRIENDS whom she will expect you to pay thousands of dollars to. She pools together a group of people to collectively scam you. Her main objective is to drag out the contract for as long as possible, so that you continue paying her. She will tell yout that publicity "takes time", when in reality she has made no effort to put out a press release because she has NO contacts and CANNOT get you published anyhwere.
I REPEAT, this woman has NO CONTACTS AND CANNOT GET YOU PUBLISHED ANYWHERE. She will also not even ATTEMPT to because she has a horrible reputation and no respectable journalist or company would have ties with her. EVERYONE knows of her bad reputation and she circumvents this by taking advantage of innocent people who are new to the business.
On top of everything, I have two children and am a single mother. I had been paying this horrible scam artist woman $10,000 every month and she toook it with a smile on her face, KNOWING that she would not help me further my career and she had no intentions of actually putting out a f**king press release or anything of the sort.
FYI, press releases cost around $100 and this is something anyone can do on their own. Eventually, after calling her out on her bullshit, she will offer to put out a press realease, which is the BARE MIUNUMUM THAT ANY JOE SHMOE CAN DO ON THER OWN, and she will overcharge you by asking for hundreds or even thousands of dollars for the press release.
ANY RESPECTED PUBLICIST WILL HAVE CONTACTS IN THEIR INNER CIRCLE, WHICH SHE DOES NOT!!! SHE CANNOT HELP YOU AT ALL. No respected persons or companies in the industry would go near her with a ten foot pole. ASK ANYONE OF HER PREVIOUS CLIENTS (especially if their are listed on her website) if they would reccommend her, and they will tell you to run the OTHER WAY FAST!! She even scammed a well-respected friend of mine who is listed on her website under celebrity clients. He has nothing but negative things to say babout her and his experience.
SO please, if you are reading this, and considering hiring this scam artist Eileen to do publciity dutiies for you, PLEASE PLEASE heed my warning.
