We were going to use EF tours for a trip to Ireland and the UK for two weeks. However, eventually we decided to cancel our trip with them after realizing how ridiculous their prices are (over $5,500 for one person). Our initial thoughts were that the only money we would lose would be the $199 non refundable deposit.
As it turns out, out of the nearly $1400 we paid, we were only getting $406 back. Hidden fees such as the $600 cancellation fee, non-refundable travel insurance and the non-refundable deposit set us back nearly $1000 with nothing to show for. They did not make any of this information clear, it was all hidden fine print. All the other people that have had to cancel also share the same expiriences. This company is crooked and is not in the customers best intrest.
