They are misrepresenting the truth in their websites. They make out that they are a very large company capable of hiring many drivers. As of 6 Apr 2016, Emcee Trucking has ONE truck registered with the DOT and Collins Enterprises has ONE truck registered. This is easily verifiable. Emcee Trucking DOT#2436229 Collins Enterprises DOT#1000173.
-The point of contact for this company is supposed to be Mike Clark. His contact information is easy enough to find on the site. However, they are displaying a YouTube video (http://www.localtruckdrivingjobsonline.com/jobs.html) that implied he was on FoxNews commenting on the driver shortages. This video is supposed to set the reader at ease that this is again a large company. Well, the person in the video is NOT Mike Clark, rather Mike Card from Combined Transport in Central Point, OR. The fellow on the video said he could hire 400 drivers now. Hard to get that many drivers into one truck!
-Their web sites are gathering personal identity information from all who fill in their applications online. The pages that the application is on is NOT encrypted and NOT safe for handling said information. You can see their application here is not encrypted: http://edpcareers.net/application.html
and here: http://www.localtruckdrivingjobsonline.com/application.html
The web page TruckDrivingJobsOnline.net has a link for the application, but it sends you to http://edpcareers.net/application.html
The same for OnlineDrivingJobs.com. The application sends you to http://edpcareers.net/application.html
-What is most disturbing is that this company has stolen a logo from www.Sitelock.com to purport that their pages are safe and encrypted. One can easily see that the application pages do not start out with https://. This is not all. The Sitelock.com logo has a link built into it: https://www.sitelock.com/verify.php?site=edpcareers.net
The logo itself declares the application page to be secure. However, when you click on this logo and it "verifies" the page through Sitelock, it comes back with a 404 error; doesn't exist. (https://www.sitelock.com/error404.php)
-Not being satisfied with this, I went to the Sitelock site to see if edpcareers.net is even a customer of theirs and perhaps there may have been some technical glitches or something. Sitelock.com does not know who these people are and warned me to stay away from that application page. They said they would be looking into the fact that their logo is being used without permission.
-These people have a lot of ingredients of being scammers and/or identity theives. Who knows what they are doing with the identities they collect. Selling them comes to mind. I would avoid these people at all costs, or until they legitimize their "business," whatever that may be.
