I visited Edmond Hyundai on 1/21/17 to purchase a vehicle and it was the worst car buying experience I have had. I love Hyundai and their vehicles, but this dealership did a number of things that left me with a bad taste in my mouth:
They offered to cover tax, title and license and this promotion was even advertised that day on the radio and then after I had signed the contract they said no, they did not offer that and would not cover it. It was advertised on the radio that day.
I could not get anyone to show me a lease option, they kept pushing me to the balloon payment option and I was told I had to go with this option to get Tax, Title and License covered and then after signing all the paperwork, I was not given this.
There was a $2,000 charge for extra features and services and I still cannot get an answer from my salesman on whether I purchased that. My purchase agreement did not include that price but the original paperwork (that they did not give me copies of) and my salesman says he does not know if I purchased that or not and said he could find out from the sales manager. I also asked if I would get the papers I signed in the mail or could get a copy of those and said he would find out from sales manager. I have not had any follow-up on this, so I don’t even understand what I purchased with the car at this point.
I tried to contact the General Manager, who said he would call me back and never did and Hyundai even tried to get in touch with him because of the nature of the issue and he would not call them back either.
Consumers need to be aware of this dealership, it is horrible!
