Problem is, if your music is not that great, he will make you do it better. That's what you pay a professional music consultant for. He doesn't use anyone. It's a tough as nails industry if you know anything about it. Probably the toughest. There is no promise in consultation or even producing. It's a risk to be in the music industry. It is wrong to imply that music consulting is bad. It's a risk you take when you enter the business. I got signed to Sony years ago through hard ass work! Eddie has done nothing but keep his word with me since I've met him. Besides, if anyone really researches who he really is, you would know he is well respected in the music industry.
I just read a report on Eddie Wenrick that the scammed an artist or artists by taking lots of money and delivering next to nothing. They mentioned how he used Alex Boye as a name drop and credibility and used the title of "consultant" to avoid any commitment. This is all true! I have personally dealt with this guy myself and he did exactly the same thing. Was not willing to sign anything, took thousands of dollars from me using the title of "consultant" and was as rude a guy at times as one can be. HOW ANYONE CAN DEFEND THIS GUY IS BEYOND ME. He's great at putting on an act in front of his music executive friends who he was in business with 30 years ago when he was active in the business,make no mistake, he is totally non existant now and makes his money by making empty promises and taking big money from artists who, as I was, are or were to trusting. Please be aware and if you value your money don't do business with this individual.
Met Eddie Wenrick one time in my life 5 years ago. Now he fabricates story that he met me 20 years ago to make a deal. Any similar stories of dishonest business practices.
