On August 20, 2017, I experienced identity theft by providing information to an imposter posing as Apple.com with whom I do have an account. Checking my credit report, I find that on August 21, 2017, an account was opened in my name: the creditor is only listed under a heading of ECS with no phone, but an address of 535 Anton Blvd STE 100 Costa Mesa, CA 92626
I entered this ECS under Google, and found that others have filed disputes with Eperion from the same supposed creditor. I disputed this online as well, but I just want to report in detail what occurred and the several reasons I have to believe that my identity theft was used to open an account in my name.
I want to underscore my dispute to anything that might be charged to me in the future, from this party.
