In person salesperson visited my home to sell me a month to month pest service on 06/14/2022. Agreed upon rate was to be $120.00 per visit (each month) but was told if at any time I'm not satisfied with service I could cancel (as it was sold as a month to month service).
During this visit on 6/14/2022 there was a "welcome call" with their customer service department where they claim that conversation about "Annual Commitment Discount Payback" was explained. I do acknowledge the call but I DO NOT acknowledge that was this explained to me (had I understood what this meant I would NOT have signed up for their service).
1st service was rendered on 6/24/2022 and I was charged $129.90
2nd service was rendered on 07/27/2022 and I was charged $129.90
3rd service was rendered on 08/15/2022 and I was charged $129.90 and I then decided to cancel as I noticed NO CHANGE in my pest population being reduced.
I called 08/15/2022 the customer service line to cancel which is when it was revealed to me that I had to pay $194.85 cancellation fee.
I attempted to dispute this with the agent, but was no successful. The agent insisted the welcome call covered all explanation of this charge which I dispute. To date this company refuses to refund my $194.85.
