About five years ago a salesman from Econ Solar in Ky. talked me into having solar panels installed on my home. I have a written 25yr warranty that was to take care of anything. From time to time a panel would go out and they would install a new micro inverter.
A few months ago I had a panel go out, when I tried to call got "this number is no longer in service" message. Got on computer and found out through BBB the company was no longer in business. Now four panels out of twelve aren't working and I'm out close to $20,000 dollors.
Company gone, warranty worthless. No notice it was happening, nothing. I feel that the owner, who I don't know by name, no doubt swindled a lot of people like me out of their money. The company also installed gutters, was known as Econ Solar and Gutter Magician.
