My ECCIE nightmare. This site does not screen its reviews and anyone can post defamatory and false reviews while cowardly hiding behind a screen name and avatar. I learned this after discovering that reviews featuring photos of my face, my full name, licensure and contact info were being viewed by thousands of people without my consent or knowledge! I was completely objectified and my safety and career as an LMT were jeopardized by their negligence. The very fact that this information was posted about me was a violation of the terms and conditions of the website itself but the moderators encourage it's members to post many reviews (including the kind that are dishonest and violate others rights to privacy and safety in order to unlock privileges within their membership). In other words someone got a "gold star" for putting my life at risk. These forms of websites hide behind the premise of being fanciful and fictitious prose in order to not implicate others in criminal activity but, that is all these "reviews" do. I was able to contact ECCIE after some investigation on my part and the part of a friend and consultant in the legal field. After some back and forth they agreed to remove the reviews upon the basis of my being licensed, not that my life and safety were being jeopardized by defamatory reviews using copyrighted images of my face and full name to encourage traffic to the site. The way the explanation was phrased for removing my reviews based upon licensure makes me realize they have put many others in this position before, and honestly one is too many!
If you find yourself in a similar position defend yourself and do not be overwhelmed by humiliation and fear. Anyone posting your personal information and objectifying you is in the wrong, regardless of licensure! I sincerely hope and pray anyone else being put in this compromising position does not become a statistic, it is there but for the grace of God that I wasn't seriously harmed. On an aside note reading the descriptions of my physical appearance was infuriating and hurtful even though the reviews were positive about my physical attributes. I hold myself in higher regard and felt degraded. Women are beautiful and should be treated in kind. I have since read other reviews about women on that site that if I had read it about myself I would be in tears. It is unacceptable to share an intimate experience with someone and then disregard their humanity and objectify them online. It is also unacceptable to have a sexual fantasy about someone you haven't met, inaccurately describe them based upon their photos, and then post that fantasy as if it is happened and put that person's entire life in jeopardy .
To anyone who is engaging in this behavior please ask yourself if you would want this to be done to you before you end up seriously harming someone. Hobbyists hide behind screen names and avatars for a reason, because they are implicating themselves and others in criminal activity and potentially putting others in harms way. If you weren't doing something wrong there would be no need to hide.
This girl is mentally unstable. She works as an escort out of Gulfpoet, MS. She will schedule a meeting and not show up. Then if you write negative reviews about her, she will harass you and call you names. Also, she will sptead lies and rumours about you. Stay away from this girl.
This website promotes prostitution and protects prostitutes. They allow clients to review prostitutes. However, if you write a negative review, they will delete the review and ban you from the site. Backpage eas shut down. ECCIE has taken it's place. Yet law enforcement does nothing. This website exists for the sole purpose of promotting prostitution and protecting prostitutes.
