Just got off the phone with eBuyUSA. They told me that the free shipping is through a freight service that will take 2-3 weeks (not 6-9 days as their website states) and that I should pay $199 for Fed-Ex ground. I refused because it was too expensive.
Tacky up-sale? Sure, but I can't blame them for trying. The extra shipping time does piss me off, though.
I checked out the Fed-Ex website and ground shipping (4-5 days) would only be $110. I called back to see if I could haggle and only pay the difference. I spoke with a different person and he told me it would be $254 though fed ex, and that's after splitting the difference. He then told me that there is no free shipping option and that I would have to pay the extra $254 if I wanted the TV. I canceled my order. Now I'm reporting them to the FTC (I already filed a complaint against EastCoastTVs). You can't advertise free shipping then tell people there is no free shipping and request $254.
This company lies about the products they are selling and make racist claims against certain ethnic groups to justify asking for more money. Classic bait-and-switch operation. They claimed LG makes two panels for their TVs (false) and that certain ethnic groups in Korea and Mexico are unable to make the "good" panel made in Japan or USA. So the price I paid was not honored and they refused to ship the TV (even when I said I would accept the lower quality panel). In addition, they are currently listing items (like a 2017 version of an LG TV) that doesn't exist (according to LG) in order to justify charging more for the "good" panel. Finally, once I refused to pay more and asked for the TV to be shipped, within an hour unauthorized transactions appeared on my credit card across the country.
One of the worst companies I have ever done business with. I ordered an LG OLED TV on 2/4/17. The next day, a guy from ebuyusa called me telling me there was a defect with that specific TV (that wasn't mentioned on the site) and suggested a I buy a different TV that was the exact same model number but supposedly without the defect and cost $1k more. I declined his offer and he informed me the TV would ship the next week. In he following months I placed multiple calls with the company asking for an update. Each time the same guy answered the phone but gave me totally different stories about why the TV hadn't shipped. I cancelled my order after two months. The day after I cancelled my order, my credit card company called me because someone else was racking up charges on the same card I had used with ebuyusa. That card had not been used for 6 months so the timing of the fraud was strange.

Purchased a LG OLED c7 65 inch MAGNOLIA edition..from these folks. Salesman was very helpful and explained how to identify build quality. Although I have not read 1 Positive review about them I decided to give them a chance. TV arrived in 4 days. Great quality pack very well.. I was skeptical because their price were insanely low. My customer experience was great. Couldn't ask for a better salesman. I have had this TV for 3 months and it is great. Best picture right out of the box and even better if you calibrate it properly. Coming off a 4k Samsung 8500. Back to EbuyUSA, I no complaints I am glad I did not have to write a negative review, I gave them a shot, you should too.
This company has the best price on Google Shopping. They have alot of reviews, because once you place the order an almost forced STAR review system pops up. All the reviews are based on placing the order and price. Once you get the phone call the following day, the salesman puts fear in you about the OLED TV you're buying and why it will fail. Then tells you why you need to spend another $700 on the same model, but a new manufacture date.
When i called to find ou the status, i was on hold twice for over 30 minutes, just trying to find out the status.
They are never going to ship the product becuase i didnt pay the normal online upcharge price.
Ordered the Sony xbr75x940e online after speaking with Jerry at ebuyusa from Jerry asked him if it was a USA unit with a USA warranty he claimed absolutely and told me to order it online ordered it online then called a follow-up he said it was shipping today and then he proceeded to ask me to make sure I wanted what processor I wanted the UC 1 or UC2 the Uc1 is a European model not sold in the United States they told me I would need to order the UFC 2 which was regular retail price. I knew I was not going to get the TV that I wanted but I figured I would give it a shot and then wait for the scam
Found Ebuyusa on the web, and liked their prices. Found a nice LG OLED on Friday, and placed the order. I received confirmation of the order via email. I called Monday to ask about another model I thought of purchasing as well. When I asked the status of my existing order I was asked to call back on Tuesday. I call back on Tuesday to talk to the manager to ask for the status, and the availability of some other panels I was interested in for a larger order. After putting me on a long hold, I was informed that the TV I ordered was not in stock and they MIGHT get some more in in 2 Weeks. He tried to sell me a more expensive TV ($1100 more). When I said I was not interested he said my only two options were to either cancel my order or wait two weeks and HOPE they get more in. SERIOUSLY??? Because the price is good, I will wait the two weeks and check again. If I face further disappointment I will post my review everywhere and report them to the BBB. I'm just glad I didn't place the larger order.
