We had the unfortunate experience of moving with this company and here is our story:
- The moving company was 9 hours late (YES, honestly NINE HOURS). Because we had to move that day, we were frustrated wasting our entire day waiting for their truck to show up.
- Do not believe their dispatcher (Matthew) and truck drivers because they lied to us time after time regarding the arrival time. They kept telling us that they will show up in 1 hour or 45 minutes, but they never did. Soon after, their dispatcher (Matthew) refused to answer our calls when their trucks didn’t show up.
- After their driver finally arrived, there were no apologies and they pretended as doing us a favour for just showing up.
- Their drivers were not willing to honour the price that have been negotiated and overcharged us. They forced us to sign the contract and pay them $200 deposit before the move. After everything was loaded, they refused to move until we paid the remaining balance with a minimum of 4 hour charge. Over the phone, they told us the minimum was 2 hours and the deposit was never mentioned.
- The mover did not take any care during the move. Unlike what they have advertised, the movers did not use any blanket or bubble wraps. As a result, they damaged our furniture, scratched our door, walls, and the brand new hardwood floors.
- We finished our move well after midnight.
