Hello, There is a company called easy financial that is now threatening a bankruptcy order on "money owed". They told me I had a balance left due and I made sure that much was in there. However they then tried to take out MORE than what they told me was due which caused an NSF and now they are harassing me for the NSF and "remainder due" I can't afford a lawyer but this is their error for not keeping proper records or for providing me with the incorrect info of what was due. I need help figuring out what to do because I can't afford lawyer fees or anything but if they force bankruptcy on me it's basically going to ruin my life
Received phone call from a "Dean Wilson" who attempted to retrieve information about my husband. He said that my husband had been involved in "elicit bank activity" what does that even mean? He said he was a paralegal with Keller & Associates and he was trying to help my husband before he had to turn it over to the local authorities. Luckily, I, myself am a paralegal, and once I started asking legitimate questions, he hung up on me. THEN, he called my mother, my husband's grandmother and father! This guy is out of control and can't keep track of the different name and companies he is telling ppl. He told me a different company than what he told my mom, but same phone number. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. We have zero past due bills, but even if we did, a collection agency wouldn't hang up on me when asking for a copy of a bill! This guy is a joke!
