Loan officer called from (904)425-1306 which is a Florida area code. The loan officer informed me that I would need to send them $200 to ensure that I was capable of paying off the loan to them in the amount of $5,000. I asked Mr.Andrews (loan officer) why should i send him money if i need money...? He assured me i was not going to send him money and that i simply would need to locate a CVS not a western union and once i locate the CVS to stay on the line with him and he will tell me step by step what to do. He told me to select the option to make a bill payment over the moneygram self service phone with the operator then proceed to the counter and make the payment in the amount of $200 dollars and once I recieved the reciept with the reference number on it for the payment to read off the reference number all while staying on the phone with him. He asked me what was taking so long and how long was the line in CVS and I told him I walked out and that i was skeptical of sending him the funds. He kept pressuring me to send the $200 because once he received the $200 he would deposit the $5,000 into my account along with the $200 i sent. I continued to question him and he kept repeating the same information as well as saying they were not a fraudulent company and that he could be sued if he was fraudulent. I initially hung up because I didnt understand why a company would call more than three times the previous day in one day and leave multiple voicemails to extend a $5,000 loan. Below is the information Mr. Andrews told me to use to send the $200. I asked to speak to someone in the accounting department and he said ," no problem ma'am hold on" as I waited and someone came to the phone introducing themself as Patrick he didn't have the same voice accent as Mr.Andrews,...; however; once I asked him two different questions about the company he then began sounding like Mr.Andrews and apparently he was so upset he forgot he was supposed to been maintaining a fake accent t be this Patrick guy. This happend this morning 8/13/15 and I just had to report it thankfully I was smart enough to not send it.
