To start, changing of pricing that they verbally gave. Anything that comes out of their mouth is a complete LIE.
They claimed they checked with the manufacturer that the flooring they were installing was able to be installed over radiant in-floor wood heat, LIE.
My mistake I listened to them.
While installing the flooring, they cut one of the water lines. Caused a flood in my home, and so went the disaster.
The product was Adura Max. It should NEVER been installed, it can melt or be punctured as per the manufacturer and several other flooring professionals. REAL NICE, they installed a product that can cause a fire and/or flood in a home...
Here is installation reference: https://www.mannington.com/Residential/AduraMax/Installation
When they returned to my home, they literally told me they did not use sharp objects to cut the flooring.
I gave the installer the cut product to go give his "boss." Along with the padding with cut marks all over it.
I received an aggressive call from John who made claims that I called him names to his contractors, utter lie. I called myself a name because they must have really thought I am a ***** to believe that they did not use a sharp object to cut the vinyl planks. Yet, everyone involved, the contractor, plumbers, etc WATCHED them use razor blades. Not to mention the installation directions.
Oh he also threatened me and told me to come to his store so he can "kick my a**."
His "argument" to all this, complete lies, and that I received insurance money to cover the damages and he should not be held responsible. Yes, we did get insurance money to cover the water damage that they caused.
Plumbers, environmental engineers, contractors, painters, restoration professionals, new flooring, new flooring contractors...
I can go on and on, reading the product guidelines will tell you the story.
