I worked for this company from December 2014 to April 2015. This company is affiliated with Werner Enterprise. In fact, when your hired by this company your benefits are through Werner, (shady, huh). Your DAC report will reflect hired by Werner as a Owner / Lease Operator. You run for them as Owner Op but get paid as a company driver.
I gave two weeks notice of resignation to them. A few days before I was to return the “truck”, (see the video’s on YouTube, search for Eagle KMC) they dispatched me to Wisconsin, (far north). I was told if I returned the truck to Tucson I would be given a rental car and they would pay the fuel cost for me to get back home. I returned the truck and they lied. As of 2016 Eagle KMC has never reimbursed me for the fuel cost home.
They did get a rental car which was under Werner’s account. I submitted all of my fuel receipts to them as they instructed and have never seen a penny. In addition, Eagle KMC, (Kevin M Collins) transportation tried to charge me the cost of fuel for returning their truck back to the Tucson terminal. Their payroll department went so far as to reverse a deposit to my checking account, deducted money and made another deposit. I filed a complaint with the Arizona Wage and Hour Division and they had to cough up the money they took. These guys run a shady operation and lack any kind of integrity as far as I’m concerned. Beware!
