I have been doing online surveys for a few years with a great, legitimate company whose name you would recognize and that provides actual rewards. Therefore, when eRewards sent me an invitation to be on their panel, I accepted.
Their surveys were much more time consuming and more numerous than the other company. And it took a lot of time and effort to accumulate enough "e-Rewards Currency" to qualify for a reward.
When it came time to get my first reward, it turned out to be in effect, a 50% digital discount at a local restaurant. I had to spend money to get the reward and the reward was really just a membership to Restaurant.com.
The second reward was to be a $25 digital gift certificate to a national restaurant chain. They supposedly sent the code to my email address but I never received it.
I contacted them but they kept coming up with reasons why I hadn't received it and at one point even asked for an alternate email address to send it to. I never got it at either address.
After a couple of weeks and lots of exchanges with their "customer service," they just stopped responding to me. This is just a crooked organization. DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH eRewards!
