I was on a secure web site when a pop up site for Oloboots came up advertising UGG Austalia merchandise I was interested in.
I went into the site which had all the markings of the true site. completed my order and after the final check out received an order number and the print out displayed it as a factory outlet store.
After reciving the email response a tracking number was given and to check the progress through EMS.com whan I initially put in the site it came up to a US sporting goods company, however it was a weekend and when I finally reached them on that following Monday they informed me that I needed the expressmail site which is the UPS tracking site.
The tracking number I had came back that 4 days after I purchased the items it was at the sorting facility in Shanhai, China. I also received an email back that the credit card statement would show the purchase under the name of Chuang Xinenergy in Bejing, China.
I checked my cc statement and it was under that name. I closed that account so no other transactions can go to that card. I have also disputed the charge although it is probably lost. This is undoubtly a scam as I checked now 8 days following purchase and its still at the sorting facility, but UPS confirmed this is not a tracking number of theirs.
I have also learned from this site that others have had the same issues from [email protected] out of China. Everything seems to look like it is a true site until you get through and have paid for whatever. Please get the word out do whatever, but we need to stop these people that are making a lot of money from us. The HP address I have from them is HP1512020414174881. I hope this helps.
